  If WAPCo is not supplying enough gas to the Thermal plants, why does GNGC not take advantage and supply more gas to fill the breach?
  
  This would make commercial sense - after all the main business of GNGC is to supply gas to the thermal plants for the generation of electricity.
  
  The entire energy sector must co-ordinate its activities to ensure efficient production and supply of electricity. Dumso is quite unnecessary - we must provide enough electricity to meet our needs.

  The needs of the local communities are not addressed. Since these communities are close to the gas facility, they are ones to suffer the most of the danger associated with gas production. And being the least developed area of the country, it is appropriate that Ghana Gas make contribution toward their needs and aspirations in a big way.
