That is exactly what npp has just done. They have played right into a narrative and examples abound. You can justify yourself as much on the radio, instigate tribalism on the internet but at the end of the day, the populace will have to drop something in the ballot box.
The multiplier effect is the most dangerous. If the perception is that you are treating voltarians as foreigners, tomorrow, the northeners will be from Burkina Faso. And the Western ERS will be from Côte Devoir. In effect you have lost the coastal areas. You cannot win an election with this attitude in particular as there is that narrative that you are an akan party mind you with evidence.
These people they are talking about if even true, they can still register because of the dynamics of these areas. Please look at international law and practices.
Bad communication can adversely affect political fortunes.

How could this be related to tribal or ethnic politics or divisive. Though,I understand the game of politics,but sometimes let's be little bit objective, factual,constructive about our submissions and suggestions in terms of national issues for the sake of young ones. First if we are to talk about somebody and a party that is very, very divisive and shouldn't lead Ghana it us the John Mahama NDC gov't and just about 3 or 4 examples will suffice. One involves Koku Anyidoho and his own party. We were in this country when Koku Anyidoho said, after the death of the Late Atta Mills he was sidelined by President John Mahama's administration because he was seen to be "serving" the late Mills so well and therefore developed enemies until their delegates during their congress considered his hardwork and said c'mon, go and work for the party. For somebody who was writing the speeches of the late Atta Mills and was hardworking one would have thought his inclusion in Mahama's administration would have been an obvious choice but because of divisiveness, the delegates had to save his political career.
Second we were in this country when President John Mahama went to stand in the North and said they have not tasted the Presidency for a long time so th North should vote for him because he was from the North. Was that inclusion? We were in this country when because of the self-inflicted divisiveness brought on by the NDC party and gov't at some point had become so bad govt decided to organize a "One Ghana March" to show that what united us as a people was more than what divided us. What happened, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the NDC party drove members of the NPP from the march in a One Ghana marc in this country, not one single word was uttered by President John Dramani Mahama which went to show he supported the divisiveness of Ghana along tribal lines even in a One Ghana March. That was very significant. Football which has been the one thing that has held Ghana together has not been spared the divisiveness of the NDC party and President Mahama. Joseph Yammin at one point was so emboldened by the divisive agenda and actions of President John Dramani Mahama's administration that, he was captured on air stating a policy position that supporters to a very important football event will feature strongly about 99% of NDC members and it was carried through finally nailing the coffin of divisiveness of the President John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't. That is just but a few examples of the track record of John Mahama of the NDC party.
The issue at stake in this matter is the voters register Ghana has been using from the evidence adduced by the NPP shows that that voters register is not credible, it is compromised and therefore not fit to be used in any elections going forward in 2016 and beyond. That is the crux of the matter. The General Sec of the NDC accepts that it is compromised, Twum-Baofo of the NDC party accepts it us compromised, Fifi Kwetey accepts it is compromised and indeed, all who have spoken on the current register advance valid arguments to support the NPP position and various other parties position and that of Ghanaians in general, that the register is compromised, is not credible and cannot be a valid document for the 2016 elections.
From the work the NPP presented which they said was just 10% completed, they found over 70,000 voters in the register from across 3 or 4 regions with work still ongoing. So where does Koku Anyidoho get this fantastic accusation from that Nana Addo is too divisive to lead Ghana? From the example cited of his person and how he has been treated by the Mahama administration when power changed hands in their party, it stands to reason from all the available evidence that that level of destructive divisiveness is and has always been a very strong factor of the Mahama administration and had it not been for NDC delegates, Koku Anyidoho would have kissed his political career goodbye in 2012. That is the record.
