  Implementing Single Window system is a good thing - it will eliminate a whole lot of corruption in maritime ports.
  
  Just like invention of robots and proliferation of modern computer technology, it will simplify tracking and payment processes at the ports by using the internet.
  
  It will reduce corruption and speed up claring of goods if implemeted according to adopted international bylaws.
  
  Just like efficiency of robots in the technological industries, it will eliminate unnecessary jobs at the ports and save huge sums of money for government.

  buy a brand new truck or diesel car in America and you will find it can not only be hacked but also beside desiel fuel you most also have tank of def (deisel exhaust fluid/adblue) for engine to run..Sometimes old is better... ...

  West Blue collapsed the port operations in Nigeria & they were dismissed. Why is government not heeding to advise but forcing to go ahead with West Blue? Is it bcos of greed & chop-chop?

  What ever window the state wants to operate it should do so with maximum education and assistance to ensure that on 1st September when the new system starts all implementers and users of the system are very clear on the process and procedures. Currently there is very little that the average importer knows or understands about the new system to be followed

  Why are they afraid?It is not because they are thinking about the welfare of Ghana,it is because there will be an end to their stealing and cheating ways.How I am praying that September will come,so that the implementation of the single window will start,after all the government is just going ahead with what all other countries affiliated to the world customs organization is doing,customs will do their owe evaluation,and will definitely reduce cost.
