As long as there are people out there,who are prepared to buy our Bonds,I don't think this Government has any intention of putting a stop to it.This is becoming a vicious cycle,they borrow to pay interest on our debts, and invest in projects,which doesn't yield any profits to settle the debts,but only to show they are doing something.I am sure by the time the elections will be over,Ghana's debt will hit the GHC 200,Billion mark,because this Government will do everything to stay in power,including sharing borrowed money among voters.Posterity is really in trouble,because with this careless attitude of this ruling generation,I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.

NDC goats have been a failure, how can you increase the debt load from 9.5 Billion cedes by 10 times in 7 years. Even drunken soldiers who hate themselves will wake up from their stupor and correct their misactions before then

This is incompetence and needs to be at the center of the debate in the country. Every idiot can call themselves a president and start borrowing billions without having any vision, strategy or tactics to implement

These Ashantis and Akyems insult northerners as if they are nothing, yet depend on Bawumiah for their survival. Without Bawumiah NPP would have been at the level of PPP and GCPP etc, totally neutralized as a force.

But the Ashanti/Akyem has a typical mentality as exhibited by Milton. Their hatred for northerners is so intense that they forget that there are Northerners in NPP, with Bawumiah doing all the dirty work for them and Tony Karbo exhibiting all the most stupid behaviour. It is clear the northerners in NPP are compelled to do the dirty work in order to be recognized. But sadly they are merely fooling themselves, as Milton has shown with his outburst.

Until people on this thread understand the seriousness and implications of these two bulleted statements above, they will continue to engage in this tribalism issue.

Our challenge as a nation is that a large majority of our people are illiterates, even the so-called educated, many need to be further taught about basic economics. I read on this thread a few months ago Fiifi Kwettey's analysis as to the depreciation of the cedi and was unsure whether he believed in his analysis or a further dust-throwing to intentionally deceive the illiterate population.

Hopefully, we will continue to highlight these issues and further educate our people.

If there's a need for a new register, then so be it. It's too important to ignore the issue on the grounds of cost. We will just gave to forego some other expenditure eg emoluments to govt ministers, MPs, top civil servants

At the rate Ghana debt is increasing is to lay brames at the doorsteps of our stupid foolish parliamentarians who are in the August house to approve and loan without demanding stewardship on old loans and detail documents on which loans are to paying or settling.We know that the debt they claim they are paying has no name whether it is TOR loan,Atuabo gas plant loan,Kumami airport runway rehabilitate loan or the unfinish Ridge hospital and unfinish Nkrumah circle overpass loan.Workers are still not paid so we are asking our criminal thief president Mahama to declassify all borrowing and payment of loan because we need to know how our money are used.
