Ghanaian women in our rural areas has no assigned with any official roles in the country but under difficult conditions they play major adorable roles by farming to feed the nation and keeping the family and community.

Why should anybody think just two women out of millions because of their relation have to get specific defined roles in the country? that is absurge and too much asking over the hills.

What research work has this NGO done to even come to conclusion with such message to the public or is it the usual wanting to say something for attention?

The late musician Fela's mother used her own hard earned mother to help many Nigerians in the then South West region.
They are wasting money here and there. If they really want to do good things out of good heart , they will use their own money.
There are ministries for social welfare...gender....poverty elevation etc and orhers that are not politically aliened, such ministries should be encouraged.
Africa's problems are too much! We clap,bow,salute,embrase anything!

Do we have to copy anything that the Americans are doing? If so, why can't we insert "no one is above the law" clause in their constitution into ours to make people pay for their crimes against our dear but rather copying that foolish roles they have as first and whatever ladies?

What about first dog and cat? When are we going to insist on that? We go to the polls and elect people to lead us and if a man is elected, his wife should not have any role or whatever but should be left to serve a wife for his husband. These women do not even cook or do any chores because they have servants, maids or whatever to do anything for them so, why are we pushing the knots to detonate the bombs? Aren't we tired already? Tweakai, the black man and copy, copy.

I am not jealous of anything or anybody. We must think of Ghana first and leave anything that makes no sense behind. Soon, we will mount a podium and debate about first dogs and cats which may be interested to some.

The constitution of Ghana has no role for first and second ladies. The world over first and second ladies have no constitutional mandate to perform any duties. In the civilised democracies they support they NGOS. In the case of Ghana this nonsense of none elected first and second ladies sharing elected political offices with their husbands started with Nana Konadu Rawlings. The underlying fact is that they front for their husbands who steal national resources through them. A typical example is the national assets, including Nsawam Canary PNDC/NDC handed over to Nana Konadu and their 31st December Women's Movement. It is now a fact that some of the assets were not even paid for even though they were at cut throat prices. If one may ask what is the relevance of the 31st December Women's Movement in the affairs of Ghana. Now those assets given to Nana Konadu by her husband J J Rawlings belong to which couple. This example alone is one too much. Please let them be as they are if their husbands cannot find control them. Any official duties assign them will call for budget allocation and one will be surprised to know that their budgetary allocation will be approved untouched even before that of the Ministry of Health. I will call the powers that be in Ghana to study the daily lives of; the first ladies of America and Britain and the first gentleman of Germany. God will save Ghana. AMEN

NGOs should note that the 1st and 2nd ladies are not on government payroll hence no rolls can be define for them. They are regular citizens and can choose to do whatever they want.
