Dedicate a minute of silence to mourn 500 people who lost their lives because some handful of doctors went on strike demanding 100 gallons of fuel for Senior Specialist Consultant, On-call-duty facilitation, 20 percent of basic salary and accommodation in lieu, 40% of basic salary to be paid in future budget at all cost; whilst they continue taking their current monthly salaries.

It is really sad ….Whoever is behind this ill motive shall go unpunished they shall always “fetch water with basket” as they continue to influence society badly for their selfish gains.

Dr. Srebour was deluding himself that because he had the privilage of going through Medical School, he should be acknowledged as wiser than every one else. Little did he ever think that he was indeed abiusing the trust his colleague doctors reposed in him by electing him their General Secretary.

He refused to heed all the pieces of advice Ghanaians gave that solution to the problems surounding solution to their CODIFIED CONDITIONS OF SERVICES did not only rest on embarking on STRIKE ACTION but rather to sit down with their employer to TALK THINGS OVER.

Now after having gone over to Radio to insult every body that dared to offer advice against STRIKE ACTION, he is now going back to the NEGOTIATION table after needless loss of innocent lives?

So in the final analysis, which is the winner, BOOK KNOWLEGE or NATIVE WISDOM? The blood of the dead will forever weigh heavily on your heads.

It is however, encouraging to know that we now led by people with principles, not cowards and opportunists.

See the crazy logic. I have not in my entire life seen a leadership as useless, senseless, arrogant, insensitive, and as sinister as what we are seeing in the present GMA. Better stop this irreparable damage to the once noble profession and call an emergency meeting to deliberate on how to reclaim your lost glory.Is disgraceful. Unbelievable!

On the other side, we as a country should be bold enough to sue Government if they go ahead to use the tax payers money to pay people who have not worked. This is coursing financial lost to the tax payer and the state. Why can't we for once respect our laws? How much is Government going to pay the tax payers who have suffered pain unduly or worse still lost their loved ones? This must not be allowed or tolerated. Is not a discretionary issue for Government to use the tax payers money for no work done; it is an issue of law. What does the law say? Have they worked? It is unlawful. It is not proper. Let us for once demonstrate to the world that we are a law abiding people regardless of who is at the centre of it. Why should any one use our hard earned taxes reklessly. This is a jaundiced decision the President Mahama must not accept because he swore an oath to be fair and do good all Ghanaians notwithstanding whatever. We need to test the law and to request that any money paid to Dortors on strike is refunded immediately or with interest. No way Mr. President John Dramani Mahama. You will be failing in your oath to pay Doctors who have not worked and caused pain and lost of lives to tax payers. The strike was illegal and any payment of salaries is an illegality. Please Mr. President!
