I doubt if he is contesting a Journalist position. The guy wants to run as am MP for his area which every citizen with honesty, and love for his people and country can do easily.

Ghana dier, anybody talks rubbish free. I think the use of the term journalist is just to cover that he is unemployed or doing menial jobs in US way beyond the qualifications and training he received in Ghana and throughout his career.

The CV is quite good but the questions are why did he leave for no apparent reason?

My theory is he wants to return to Ghana to be a somebody after realizing that the grass is not that green on the other side, and all that glitters about aburokyire is not gold. From highly trained person in Ghana to maybe taxi driver, or casual worker in US is not easy plus all the laws and regulations you have to follow in US and the marital etc problems Ghanaians easily fall prey to.

But, hey, go to Ghana and run for office and be elected. Then you get free car, free accommodation, free fuel, hefty end of service benefits, free this free that etc, and you can take 10 percent here and there and put up a decent mansion in a short time, no questions asked and no tax returns or proof of income needed.

This guy went for a course in the USA and overstayed and now he wants to come back and do what. Is only in Ghana that someone who lives illegally in a foriegn country comes back home and he is hailed as a journalist.
