Any true Muslim who follows the dictates of the Koran verbatim cannot condemn the actions of the ISIS because the scriptures support same. I am a Muslim but I am always guided by common sense . Most Muslims who openly condemn the acts of the ISIS do not do so from the heart. You may call them hypocrites if you so wish. They do so to hide their shame but within their hearts they support. Most Muslims in Ghana have been contributing monies to the course of some of 'terror' organizations.

Sometimes people have to really probe seriously (devoid of arrogance) with the intent to know the whole concept about religion, God & His essence, man & his essence, creation & why creation of man. A whole lot about God & His plan for mankind is lazily left unexploited by especially Christian leaders who are to study impart knowledge from the Bible to the flock they lead. Instead they, like the politicians we have, are busily exploiting on the ignorance of the people.

As to how that would make things better, only God knows. If he wants 70 virgins, he should have used his ticket money to go to circle or togo embassy, he could have had 700 ashawos with that kind of money. Better than imaginary virgins.
National security should focus on things like this and stop getting involved in petty crimes. If we are not careful, we could have our own bokom haram. Even countries with sophisticated security systems struggle. Interior minister should make a statement to assure Ghanaians. Parliament too should get involved. This is an extremely serious issue in the pipeline.

Notable among them is degrading of the Islamic religion and portraying it as evil. There is the need to not only tolerate but also respect all religions. Then the question of ethnicity is inevitably linked to religion. Preachers should refrain from denigrating other religions. In Ghana, many people view Northerners as Muslims and vice versa. Political marginalization leads to economic marginalization. Equal opportunities should be given to all to develop their talents. There are some professions reserved for only a certain class, some are denied employment and appointments on the basis of ethnicity and religion. Some are viewed as inferior and are discriminated against. These are the issues that if left unattended too leads to radicalization. There is the need for Interfaith Muslim-Christian Council to organize joint activities to promote the elimination of prejudices and enhance the culture of tolerance. All Ghanaians must be made to feel they belong to Ghana and are wanted and respected in the country. Above all, there must be equitable distribution of the national cake among all the regions and across all religions. In this way no one will feel so isolated to think of joining ISIS for a better hereafter that may never exist.

Even though Saudi Arabia does not necessarily wield much authority over Muslims around the World, it is only when her Clergies begin to proactively lead the denunciation of all the nonsensical co-option of the Koran to justify the pure evil that ISIS is perpetrating on innocent people around the World that the level of recruitment for the organization would go down.

I was very shocked to notice how long it took the Saudi Leaders, in particular, to indicate any contempt for the villainous behavior of ISIS. Obviously, the Sunni Leadership in and out of Iraq might have thought ISIS to be a legitimate rebellion against the Shiite dominated Regime in Iraq, now that ISIS has taken over more expansive responsibility and professed to be an International menace, all sane people around the World must unconditionally oppose it and work together for its total uprooting.

Many would, perhaps, claim the Saudi influence may be irrelevant. But given the experience of 9-11, in which majority of the killers were Saudis and, most importantly, all were Sunni, it is imperative that we consider ISIS as fighting a war for Sunnis only, (and not for all Muslims), against the rest of Humanity.

It is therefore imperative that a significant Sunni Leadership take to a global campaign of rejection of ISIS to help discredit its cause. That is the only way to limit the religious justification of joining the group.

Meanwhile, Ghanaians must be vigilant and fully cooperate with the Authorities to flush out any foreign ISIS recruiters in our midst. We should monitor the Schools and Mosques like never before. Our Youths must not fall for the deception that ISIS is leading a War against only the West or Christendom. ISIS intends to achieve its selfish narrow goals at the cost of anyone who dares to question its purpose or methods. The various beheadings it has undertaken do not reflect what they sell to recruit. They would rather have only Islam as the religion that everyone worships globally. And they are killing anyone they believe is helping maintain the status quo.

Allah is actually the name of this moon god. This god was worshipped in mecca by the arabs before mohammed came and the kaba was the center of the worship of this god. Traditions like facing the kaba during and going round the kaba 7 times were already practised even before mohammed was born. Muslims will argue and say allah is God in arabic but why is it that muslims never say God even when they speak english but always say allah irrespective of the language they speak. It's bcos allah is the name of their god. Allah is not God almighty. All what i'm saying can be verified, go and do ur research. Today we have the internet available so u can look it up on the net as well.
