Why are you so glued to borrowing unprecedentedly for projects, that you can share a major part of the money to yourselves thus using about 20 percent of it and the rest goes into your pockets but you can't solve the dumsor which has killed many people and killed many businesses thereby keeping rendering many unemployed? For borrowing for the dumsor, you can't keep a large part of it in your pocket as you'll exposed easily. What we expected you to do is you manage our small resources efficiently and come out with prudent projects as we cut our coats according to our sizes. A gov't which borrows to buy sanitary pads for girls. Does it mean that we can't get anything from our taxes? Always borrowing to do everything thing. What do do with our taxes? Just 50 SHS were supposed to be ready, completed and staffed with teachers and students by the end of 2013, with the students acquiring knowledge to contribute to Ghana's development. But as we speak not only have the 50 SHS promised in 2013 not ready, it does not seem the 50 SHS will be completed by the end of 2016. Now if just 50 SHS promised is nowhere to be found, where and when will the next 73 SHS be completed for one to begin to talk of another 100 SHS ready by 2016, making a total of 223 SHS in all, 200 from the John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't and another 23 from the World Bank facility? Funny enough John Mahama as is usual of the mediocrity and propagandist policy that has been the mainstay of his govt is saying, construction of 123 SHS is more than the pass mark on the delivery of 223 SHS promised in their manifesto. If this is not the most shallow attempt at covering gross and dangerous ineptitude than one does not know what it is. 50 SHS is not even ready as promised, so how can this John Mahama NDC govt begin to talk of a pass mark on the presumption that the SHS'S promised with some now having been contacted for construction should justify a pass mark? Does John Dramani Mahama understand the concept of completion of a project or in his mind what he described in the reported article is his intelligent concept of completion of a project for which he should applaud himself of having achieved a pass mark? As he speaks not even 3 of the 50 SHS promised by 2013 is ready and completed, or even 2 and is staffed with students, teachers and other auxiliary staff. If even 3 SHS have not been completed, how can even begin to talk of a pass mark?
Indeed, governance has dumbed down so bad, with the level of mediocrity so dangerous, the lines between sanity and insanity becomes increasingly blurrier each passing day under this John Dramani Mahama NDC govt. It is a very serious joke and it is very, very dangerous. Never in the history of this country has Ghana had to witness this level of incomprehensible clownish approach to governance in such an egregious manner. For the information of President John Dramani Mahama, Ghanaians want to see just 5 SHS completed with students accessing thsee facilities before awarding any pass mark. That is the measure of completion and not this mediocre and clownish behaviour and attitude being exhibited in this country and under his govt.
