  A thorough investigation should be carried out. This poor boy might not be her biological son, hence she doesn't have motherly love for him. How on earth can someone be cruel to their own child!

  Yes, people are judged a whole. Nigerians are judge a whole even though 90% of crimes are committed by igbos. But scripture says judge a righteous judge by John 7:24. That don't mean other tribes in Nigeria don't commit crimes, but when when you highlight a particular sub tribe like Ashanti in the akan tribe and pin every crime, even crimes happening in fanti lands, then that expose your tribalism.

  I know how easy it is for people to jump to the defense of the so called "poor boy". Nobody seem to care about the profession of the woman, her social status and how she keeps the house running. In some families, it takes people weeks if not months to save Ghc 11.00. Perhaps that was the last hope of the woman, who knows. Don't get me wrong, I do not at all support her actions but let's be realistic. While blaming the woman, let's also consider the enormity of the boy's crime. May be the woman was just frustrated. They both need to reform.
