  Why is Ghana not focusing on attracting tourists from the Caribbean, South & North America whom have historical links to our country because of the slave trade? We have World Heritage Sites such as Elmina Castle that are not being fully marketed at tourists.
  If the Obama's were interested in visiting it I am sure others would be as well? We have no historical ties to Turkey & therefore, what would attract them to visit Ghana?

  Ghana has not even tapped properly into the Diaspora market and those coming from Europe, N America and Carribean. This is because there is a lack of joined up up approach to Infrastructure, having more than 1 airport, access to visas, tourist friendly transportation, promotion of Ghana to domestic and African tourists (wii falls,North, Kumasi etc).
  Ghana needs to really start thinking and stop rushing without putting a proper plan in place. Rushing to chase tourist business without a solid base is not sustainable
