  What will get you the President of GFA slot is votes - votes - votes - votes. It does not matter who asked you to contest or how much you can contribute. First is to convince delegates who are eligible to vote to vote for you. Period. In a democratic organization you need votes to be president. Next time these people pushing you should help you to get the necessary votes. Good luck.
