  Football is no longer a game of fun for those who are involve. It is business.The question we need to ask is how much revenue/gain has GFA accrued from the Black Star as an entity. The fact is they are to be paid out of the gains they have made for the nation. This should not be a tax payers money. The issue should not be how much they are paid but how much they have gain in terms of revenue for the nation or GFA.The writer should research about how much money the STARS make for the nation for participating in international tournaments and compare to how much they are paid.
  If the Black Stars make usd10m for each game won for the nation then paying them usd10k each is nothing. My point is the Stars are to earn the money not just for a dash. Football is no more for fun but huge business.

Soccer is important because that is the only thing that brings us together as a nation, but we have to look at those who saves lives too because they are more important than the soccer players some of them making millions of dollars already.
