  Anas should apologise to whom and for what? The three judges should count themselves lucky. When the judges at the lower courts give judgements and the verdicts are overturned at the higher courts, do they apologise to the victims? They should should shut up and go quietly. They should rather thank their stars. The fact that they have been freed for mistaken identity does not mean they do not take bribes.

  There is no smoke without fire.In every lie there is some small truth,even if these Judges are not the ones taking the bribe,they are all corrupt period.If not in this case,they have definitely taken bribe before.Almost anybody who is unfortunate to go to court in Ghana knows,without bribing somebody you will surely lose your case,even if you are not guilty.Anas owns nobody an apology.This case will end like all other corruption cases in Ghana,they will all go Scort free.

No one is acquitted.

He better not compromise else his career will drag through the mud by the time he realise. I won't and don't trust what the JC is doing. There seem to be a perceived intentions somewhere...but one thing I can say is that, they are definitely acting on a diktat. It is what it is.

  On Friday afternoon, it was widely reported that Justices Kaakyire Atta Owusu, Frank Ashitey Addo and Kofi Ahiabor Addi have been acquitted and discharged by the 5-member committee set up by the Chief Justice to investigate the issue.
  
  Meanwhile, a statement from the Judicial Secretary Justice Alex B. Poku-Acheampong said: “The Chief Justice would like to state that it is not correct that three of the 22 judges have been discharged.
  
  “There was a case of mistaken identity in respect of H/W Frank Addo Ashitey, a Magistrate at Prestea. The actual person involved is H/W Frank Kingsley Oppong, a Magistrate at Kasoa. This error was corrected by Tigereyepi in a subsequent letter before the Disciplinary Committee started its proceedings on 10th September, 2015.
  
  “The Chief Justice and the Judicial Council wish to assure the general public that appropriate steps have been taken to keep the courts of the suspended Judges and Magistrates running.
