“You inherited an economy with the highest resources in the history of Ghana. Tax resources, four times higher than the NPP; Cocoa, three times higher; Gold, three times higher; you have borrowed more than all the governments put together and still we can’t feel a better economy, then you have failed. Mahama deserves F in economic management,” Bawumia asserted.

Speaking in an interview with Nsempawura on a Koforidua-based Eastern FM, the former Deputy Governor said for instance, the NDC government inherited a total debt of GHC 9.5 billion in 2009 and has increased it to GHC 90 billion within six years.

By the end of the year, Ghana’s debt will hit about US$ 40 billion looking at the current borrowing trend, he predicted.

With the sum of US$ 40 billion, he said, a good management team will allocate just US$ 2 billion to each region for development but the contrary is happening under the NDC government.

In economic management, every government with such an amount of money should be able to pay nurses, teachers, doctors, NHIS, and take care of all the social intervention programmes in Ghana, Dr. Bawumia analysed.

According to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, President Mahama and the NDC government can best be described as a “toxic mixture of incompetent and corruption which has exploded into ‘Wahala’ and Suffering”.

He feared for the future of the Ghanaian youth under the NDC administration, and challenged the youth to join the NPP to recapture power from the NDC in the 2016 General elections.

People buy titles.People consult oracles to consolidate the titles.As a northerner,he may have consulted some mallam.My argument is that he doesn't merit the title.He is always misleading,making people to agitated,causing confusion & some people turn to believe him because of the title "Dr".
I will not forget so soon how he misled Ghanaians with his "pink sheet "garbage causing this country millions of dollars.
He is coming out with another diabolic & so-called revelation on the voters register.
Assuming that the country indeed,needs a new register before 2016,is it not at a cost which has not been budgeted for? .
So,one of he Bawumia's assignment is to create cost for the ruling government!
They are forgetting that,such diabolic plans are some of the reasons why they will never get power with him & Akuffo Addo in charge!

Professor, the fact is that it is because the Akanfuo NPP members like insulting non-Akan groups and disrespecting all other tribes including the northerners, who are largely moslems; the Akanfuo NPP don't have any respect practically for any tribes or any 'pepee' so long as the person is not an Akan as noble as they claim and try as much as possible to continue insulting and saying demeaning things about non-Akan all over Ghana. You don't need publications for this type of arrogance among NPP. It is something that every non-Akan feels so much. Remember that every tribe in Ghana has a format of choosing a noble traditional leader to lead them, and it is the same measure all tribal groups of people of Ghana are using against NPP party that their (NPP) members cannot continuously insult them daily and still hope to get winning votes from the same insulted and ridiculed non-Akan people. Parties are regarded by any tribal groups in Ghana as individuals among which kingmakers will have to select a leader who should lead them with respect, in traditional equivalence. There will never be a change in all other tribes and moslems to vote for NPP because of the permanent marks of insults and looking down upon them.
Prez Mahama manifests so much respect for every tribes in Ghana; that is the types of persons any tribes in Ghana will want to select as their leader. Tradition and culture of people is very strong in our national elections.
