DR. BAWUMIA ON NDC: ----
“You inherited an economy with the highest resources in the history of Ghana. Tax resources, four times higher than the NPP; Cocoa, three times higher; Gold, three times higher; you have borrowed more than all the governments put together and still we can’t feel a better economy, then you have failed. Mahama deserves F in economic management,” Bawumia asserted.

Speaking in an interview with Nsempawura on a Koforidua-based Eastern FM, the former Deputy Governor said for instance, the NDC government inherited a total debt of GHC 9.5 billion in 2009 and has increased it to GHC 90 billion within six years.

By the end of the year, Ghana’s debt will hit about US$ 40 billion looking at the current borrowing trend, he predicted.

With the sum of US$ 40 billion, he said, a good management team will allocate just US$ 2 billion to each region for development but the contrary is happening under the NDC government.

In economic management, every government with such an amount of money should be able to pay nurses, teachers, doctors, NHIS, and take care of all the social intervention programmes in Ghana, Dr. Bawumia analysed.

According to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, President Mahama and the NDC government can best be described as a “toxic mixture of incompetent and corruption which has exploded into ‘Wahala’ and Suffering”.

He feared for the future of the Ghanaian youth under the NDC administration, and challenged the youth to join the NPP to recapture power from the NDC in the 2016 General elections.

Bring your understanding to the person whose responsibility has been for the nation to occupy the intense stress of corruption, lawlessness, crime, political instability and economic retrogression.To claim yourself the president with intention of bloating voters register and bribing a supreme court judge is not only the beginning of where "pepeni born ayigbes" always come from but an intriguing new face of democracy where "pepeni born ayigbes" has gotten it all wrong. A man's conduct imperatively poject his actions so there is no way the incriminatory conduct of the foolish president can't reflect the direction the nation seems to be turning. The figures tell us the majority of the corrupt judges were "pepeni born ayigbes" and it explains the seemingly of the scrumbling and the occupation of judicial faculties, police departments, military, politics, financies etc. are without any reason under corruption. Now that all have seen the height of the pepeni's self adjudication and implications to the common system of our democracy, we need to define pepeni's prejudice with respect to the constitutional laws under same democracy which we find them many around. Kwame Nkoromah was smart but pepeni has not been calculative, there should be a reason to follow ones footsteps!

What a shame, you this crooked Asante Paramount Chief! What about the 77 parcels of cocaine seized from the ship Benjamin in 2003 and were deposited at the Ghana Police Headquarters in Accra but mysteriously disappeared, some of which were traced to your Manhyia Palace in Kumasi during the Kufuor administration? What about all the corrupt practices you personally engaged in with President Kufuor and his administration? Did you not also partake in the NPP's looting of government properties, like plots of land? How can you talk as if you're so sacrosanct? Why don't you and Kufuor have some sense of shame? Don't you think it was your corrupt activities that have contributed to the kind of corrupt judiciary that Ghana has currently?

I won't be surprised a bit if it turns out that most of the judges and magistrates involved in the current bribery cases were appointed by Kufuor or during his administration. Finally, don't forget about the rumours of your corrupt exploits in Canada and Britain. Ghanaians are aware of all that!

Recently, I witnessed in dismay a tirade by a white man in the first class cabin of a mid-size airplane, admonishing another first class passenger, a Ghanaian male, for “begging” for his seat. What is wrong with you Africans? All you do is beg, beg, beg for everything!! You can beg all you want; I am not going to give you my seat. Tempers finally cooled down, and the aircraft took off. Unfortunately, I was sitting next to this white man who, a few minutes ago, had insulted my whole race. With nothing else to do, I turned and asked him “what was all that about”? Apparently, the Ghanaian man was travelling with his “wife”; they had been seated in 1st class on separate rows, and apart. The man had asked this white man to exchange his seat, so the couple could be close. The white man had refused, but the Ghanaian man had persisted with numerous “I beg you”; which eventually took the white man to his boiling point. “So what would it have cost you to exchange your seat?” I asked. His response, the essence of this article was this.

“I booked my flight the last minute, and got the last 1st class seat available, this one. This means it was also available to this man, if only he had asked to be seated close to his wife. He did not, but now comes “begging” for what WAS DUE HIM in the first place.” “That still shouldn't get your collar up”, I said. “You may be right; unfortunately, I have just finished a month long negotiations with your Ministers and Government officials over your god given mineral rights, and what my gold mining company should pay.

I come to your country, see all this poverty everywhere, with wealth right under your feet. Your own government gives only foreign companies the rights and privileges to rape and steal your country blind. For a few thousand dollars, your government officials allow these foreign companies to walk away with: (a) Perpetual tax holidays, (b) Duty free imports, (c) Bloated capital and operational investment costs,

(d) under-declared mineral output, (e) minimum wages for local employees doing all the work, but FAT salaries and expense accounts for foreigners who do almost nothing; (f) exaggerated cost of shoddy school blocks and boreholes instead of meaningful royalty to local land owners and communities;

(g) destruction of local farm lands with pitiful resettlement payments; (h) pollution of local drinking water; (i) destruction of local infrastructure, etc.

My bosses had counseled me at a briefing before my departure. I was asked to read your Osageyefo's “Neo-Colonialism”. Then I was told: “be prepared, and the first, to offer the negotiating team, (a) a few thousand dollars each; (b) a center, or a 6-room school block, or a few bore holes for the community; and there will be no mention of the usual above 10% royalties, or an actual government oversight of our operations, or adequate resettlement compensations, etc.”

I did not believe my bosses since I, a mere high school graduate, was coming to deal with officials with Masters and Doctorate degrees. Imagine my shock and disappointment when these officials, instead of demanding what is INTERNATIONALLY ACCEPTABLE COMPENSATIONS AND ROYALTIES for their country and communities, only accepted the 3% royalties, and with ALL KINDS OF GIVEAWAYS, and then came to me later BEGGING me to deposit “something” in their foreign accounts (numbers written on pieces of paper). I do not want to hear the phrase “I beg you” again.

The irony here is that these so called Educated people, after negotiating away the countries wealth, and depositing their “something”s into foreign banks, turn round to go and BORROW their own money from the IMF, World Bank, or “Donor” countries/ “Development Partners”. Do you remember the number of PhD beneficiaries, and the destinations of the Mabey & Johnson kickbacks? It amazes me that your intelligentsia, Ministers and Presidents, who have studied, or have travelled oversea, still don't get the idea that “THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH”. THERE ARE NO “DONOR COUNTRIES” OR “DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS”. THE FOREIGN MINING COMPANIES TAKE YOUR MINERALS FOR NEXT TO NOTHING, DEPOSIT THEIR HAUL INTO THEIR BANKS, AND THEN TURN ROUND TO LOAN THE SAME TO OUR GOVERNMENTS, AGAIN WITH REDICULOUS CONDITIONS.SUCH AS “NO SUBSIDIZED” BASIC EDUCATION.

Corruption in this country under the Mahama NDC gov't has become institutionalized. The canker has gained ascendancy and permeated every fabric and facet of society to the point of it assuming or being described as the very air we breathe, and keeps the wheels of our democratic society oiled and moving.
This state of affairs has not been lost on anybody including the Chief Justice, Georgina Theodora Wood, when she expressed concern over the increasing rate of corruption in the country today.

According to her, the current level of corruption, if not checked on time, could pose a danger to Ghana’s infant democracy and peace, urging the entire populace to unite to help combat the corruption menace.

“Corruption has been identified as a main obstacle to peace, stability, sustainable development, democracy and human rights,” she said in a statement read on her behalf at the Chief Justice’s Forum-Staff Edition in Kumasi.
The former President and founder of the NDC party has had cause to speak to this canker of corruption describing it as having gone overboard.
A former National Security Advisor of the same NDC gov't in his somber and sober moments has described Ghana as being very, very, very sick because of the level of corruption in this country.
The clergy have also voiced their most heartfelt concerns about this canker of corruption that has destroyed this country under the Mahama NDC gov't.
This is not the first time the Chieftaincy institution has spoken about this institutionalized destructive canker of corruption under the Mahama NDC gov't. Indeed at the 19th GJA awards, the Asantehene had this to say;

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has decried the “irredeemable” level of corruption in Ghana, saying it is eroding investor confidence and stifling development.

The Asante Monarch lamented that corruption, which he described as “vicious and more corrosive," has been institutionalised in the West African state and is threatening to “derail much of what Ghana has achieved.”

Speaking at the 19th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards in Accra Saturday, the Asantehene said there is “mounting despair” because “we are all on what I call a corruption carousel.”

He said: “The community of international business and finance is expressing concerns that Ghana may be drifting to the tipping point of irredeemable corruption. Is there some salvation on the horizon? Not if you listen to the political class and the debates in the media. For them, corruption is not the issue.

“The issue is who is better at it, which party has been more corrupt. It tells us that we are in danger of coming to accept the inevitability of corruption as our way of life. And there is plenty of evidence that points in that direction.”

He stressed that the alarming level of corruption “is not something to trifle with. It is destroying business. It is undermining national governance. It is frustrating individuals. And it is eroding international confidence in our country.”

“We must accept that it is part of the problems afflicting the economy today and while we ponder over policy options, we must cry out for some act of courage to tackle the scourge of corruption, not on the peripheries but at the top,” Otumfuo Osei Tutu II stated.
All the opposition political parties have never stopped speaking to the issue of this institutionalized state and scourge of grotesque corruption under the Mahama NDC gov't, and clearly, the need for a 360 degree change in direction from this canker of corruption has never been critical and most urgent than ever before. The Mahama NDC gov't has failed the governance test and there is most definitely an incontestable need for a CHANGE IN LEADERSHIP at the ballot box in 2016. Ghana is on the ropes with corruption murderously and mercilessly pummeling the hell out of this country and Ghana cannot continue like this anymore. Enough is enough. Ghana deserves CHANGE and CHANGE must happen in 2016.

But the impunity and arrogance with which these low life miscreants we call 'judges,' who are nothing but gutter level criminals posing as refined learned gentlemen and women committed these offenses tells you that they feared no consequences. They were the final arbiters from whom simple justice was expected, Their crimes are the worst of all crimes because they and their institution left the people naked and defenseless, they are only the tip of the iceberg, their whole institution, the Judiciary is corrupt, there is not a single judge or clerk who is not involved. Where is Occupy Ghana? This is the right time to bring the people into the street. We must demand the immediate firing or resignation of the Minister of Justice, The CJ and the charging of those implicated and quick maximum sentencing. AT TIMES THE JUDGMENTS THEY MAKE ARE SO SHOCKING THAT EVEN LAYMEN WOULD NOT. THESE PEOPLE HAVE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED MOTHER GHANA. GOVERNMENT SHOULD CONFISCATE THEIR ASSETS. Tears engulfs both the rich,the powerful in Society,the weak,poor and venerable alike.A nation is in mental agony,physical despair and reeling in tears, for there's not real Justice. Justice is for Sale to the highest bidder!.The "Freedom and Justice" for their own people, achieved
through the toil, struggle, and imprisonment of our forefathers is rendered meaningless by general greed of the Citizens themselves.In my personal opinion,I think some of the Corrupt Judges were initiated into Bribery and Corruption by Court Clerks,but the Judges should have known better. Therefore,Ghanaians in general should endeavor to Change their attitude of "Whom you Know"or "Connection. Connection"!.to help eradicate the Canker from the Ghanaian Society,to prove to the World that, all is not lost to salvage and revamp the lost reputations of shattered Judiciary if swift and appropriate due processes of the law could be applied without legal technicalities to swept the Judicial Scandal under the Carpet.The World is Watching!.

It is a well known facts that,the then national Carriers,GHANA AIRWAYS, and the BLACK STAR LINES was collapsed by Ghanaians themselves.
In NY, Ghana Airways was loaded from the residence(sitting room)of this Staff(ewe man) responsible,etc.
(excuse my ethnicity description- i don't remember name).
That is the reason why the idea of those who advocates for a National
Airlines is a big joke to Ghanaians who knew the stories of what happened in flight destinations around the world by Ghanaians themselves in general and Ghana in particular,do not know what they talk about.(the inborn maneuvers by Staff,Traders,etc,to beat the system).

The African needed a blend or intergration of foreign ideas of no favour to deal with culprits,according to due processes of the law.And introduce a System that do not put too much financial constraints on the people.For example,favourable Hire Purchase terms, What do you expect in a Country in which one has to carry a box full of Cash to buy a Car or anything one could imagine.Financial realities in the Country is harsh.The Banks managed by Ghanaian Executives,preferred to use greater percentage of the Money they hold to buy gov't Treasury Bills,etc,instead to Loan Businesses to boost economic activities,and soft loans to regular Workers.Why do some nations prosper and others fail!.
