They have banked their hopes on the ELETORAL COMMISSION/NDC/STL electoral register to work for them. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING.

The alternative of a new voters register, plainly put, is a very bloody civil war in which the Rhruwandan incident will be child play.

But actually voters register is not the duty of GBA. The constitution makes it clear that it is only the electoral commission that works on voters register, and the commission is free to go about their work without any interference from any party or institution. So on that point, Otumfuor is wrong.

But my point is why do we always have to compile new voters registers over and over again? In the advanced countries getting on the voters register is a right of passage, like getting a drivers license or passport. They dont get up every so often and so today all drivers licenses are cancelled we shall now compile a new drivers license database so everybody must reapply. What is that? Why can the same not be done for voting?

All the man said is about ensuring credibility of the process and hence the register. He at no point requested a 'new' register. A credible register is not the same as a new register! Cleaning up the register will equally ensure credibility. What the NPP and its apparatchiks do not understand is that opening up a new register will even make matters worse as the stakes are high and both the NPP and the NDC supporters will do their best in respective strongholds to ensure more undesirables to register. What do u do under such circumstances? Are the bolga bull dogs and the invincible forces going to ensure this does not happen? Let's all use the God given brain and stop these insults and stupidity in this discourse. God bless Ghana and help get rid of NDC & NPP

This means, the EC should not just accept the NPP's allegation on face value but must be thoroughly investigated and if the said anomalies are found to be true, we should find ways to clean the register.

The NPP has up to September 22, 2015 to prove its allegations with credible evidence. This is not "me and you were not there" or Pink Sheet matter.

Let's stop getting in the way of the EC and allow it to do its job for peace in the country.

As at the time Anlo area had 18 schools, Central region had 14 schools. Education was compulsory then, so to Ewes, education is a tradition & in the DNA. Point of correction, Gold Coast + Volta Region = Ghana. Volta Region wasn't part of Gold Coast, but joined Gold Coast through a referendum organized before independence & both became Ghana. The late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah needed Volta Region for strategic development (the learned Voltarians & the Volta river) of the new Ghana.

But so far, it's only the NDC party which is fighting the idea of a new voters register because they know the consequences; they know they'll lose the coming elections. Already Dr. Bawumia has exposed them in his latest MicroSoft Power point presentation, in which he revealed how the NDC have gathered and imported names and IDs of foreigners into our EC's electoral data.

Moments after Dr. Bawumia's revelation, the NDC started abusing him saying he's a bogus Doctor because his exposition lacked credibility and that it was simply impossible for anyone to do that. Koku Anyidoho even said Bawumia neede advise because he was disgracing himself before Ghanaians.

Not very long after these accusations, their own disappointed apparatchiks willfully came out to declare and confess their crime--their involvement in the fraud--and to confirm what had already been revealed to everyone. They pointed out they weren't coerced to confess; they stepped forward to confess on their own accord. While these things have been going on, the NDC is also fighting vehemently against ROPAL, insisting some Ghanaians aren't qaualified to vote. Nana, it's very interesting not note!

Then the NDC, this time led by Gen. Secretary, changed their story by saying that those names belonged to Togolese nationals with dual citizenship and had the right to vote. Mama Mia! So Nana this is kind of problem we as a nation, have to deal with right now. We're surrounded by criminals who believe criminality is an acceptable norm, esp. when it pertains to election fraud, corruption, lies and propaganda. They even had a Ministry of Propaganda until recently, that they have abandoned that ministry.

If I were NDC, I would rather support the make of a new voter's register because their opponents are claiming that the previous one includes names of Togolease, Ivorian and Burkinabe citizens supposed to have been infused by this same thievery party. To prove their opponents wrong, I would have been the first even to accept the make of a new and fresh voter's register but to defend so strongly and fearlessly on the edge... it simply signifies that truly, NDC has done something wrong to the voters register and must therefore be changed in totality. 1. Can he publish the financial statements for 2014 for his education fund? While is the fund receiving funds from the public but financial statements are not being published?
2. Can he openly tell Ghanaians why he is dealing with a company that is taking large tracts of land from Kumawu at a ridiculous price of 2.50 Ghana cedis per hectare for a whole
year while this same company is paying US$4.00 per month for one hectare in Brazil?

If Otumfour can publish the financial statements and make bold declaration about this 2.50 a year Ghana cedis transaction as against $4.00 a month in Brazil, then he is qualified to talk about a new voters register.

NDC's concern for a new register is the funding for it. NDC has not said there is no money to clean the register which is their position. Therefore if Otumfuo is appealing to the international community for funding it is to support the creation of a new register.

The same NDC claim the foreigners on the register are dual citizens. So if they are advocating for cleaning, who are they going to clean?

The Supreme Court has ruled using NHIS card to register is uncontitutional. There are foreigners on the register who used NHIS to register. Did these people show their dual citizenship certificate at the time of registration?

Let us do the register again. If there are dual citizens out there, let them show their dual citizenship certificate before they are registered.
