“You inherited an economy with the highest resources in the history of Ghana. Tax resources, four times higher than the NPP; Cocoa, three times higher; Gold, three times higher; you have borrowed more than all the governments put together and still we can’t feel a better economy, then you have failed. Mahama deserves F in economic management,” Bawumia asserted.

Speaking in an interview with Nsempawura on a Koforidua-based Eastern FM, the former Deputy Governor said for instance, the NDC government inherited a total debt of GHC 9.5 billion in 2009 and has increased it to GHC 90 billion within six years.

By the end of the year, Ghana’s debt will hit about US$ 40 billion looking at the current borrowing trend, he predicted.

With the sum of US$ 40 billion, he said, a good management team will allocate just US$ 2 billion to each region for development but the contrary is happening under the NDC government.

In economic management, every government with such an amount of money should be able to pay nurses, teachers, doctors, NHIS, and take care of all the social intervention programmes in Ghana, Dr. Bawumia analysed.

According to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, President Mahama and the NDC government can best be described as a “toxic mixture of incompetent and corruption which has exploded into ‘Wahala’ and Suffering”.

He feared for the future of the Ghanaian youth under the NDC administration, and challenged the youth to join the NPP to recapture power from the NDC in the 2016 General elections.

Nana is looking for power for the following reasons: To fulfill his lifetime dream to be President of Ghana one day. A presidential taste has remained in his mouth because of what he enjoyed when his father was appointed a ceremonial president after he too could not win anything in politics. He wants to get rich in just 8 years like President Kuffour. Want to be President because, after Kuffour the Ashanti man, he feels it's the turn of the Akyems. Want to replace his father's hotel he sold for his last campaign in order to appease his other siblings. Don't forget, he will also have so much money to be able to take care of his Nigerian daughters - something he could not do since they were born.

If you think Nana is the best man for Ghana, just look at his performance in both the Foreign and Justice Ministries and be your own judge.

Btw, thank God he will never rule Ghana.

So I walk into Market Circle branch of the MTN to do a mobile money transfer and after queueing for 45 minutes it finally reaches my turn then I am told because I do not have an MTN number registered for mobile money, I could not send the money to the MTN recipient who was in dire need of money. Trying to inquire I was told it’s a directive from the Bank of Ghana. To counter that I mentioned to them they are misquoting the BOG because per the BOG campaign to fight money laundering one only needs to provide a valid ID (because I mentioned to them I had my passport on me). To my surprise I was told the only way out was to port my number from a different network to MTN then the transfer would be effect. With the pang of disgust I decided to walk out of that cottage of thievery and also instructed the staff to post the so called BOG directive on the wall so customers do have to queue only to go through my experience. Is this also corruption, or this should happen in a public office to be classified as such. What if all the banks in Ghana also say one needs to have an account with them before they can send money to their customers.

This an exact example of "quid quo pro". Something for something is the root cause of corruption. If you take from one source to give to the chiefs who did not earn it, how to you replace that resource? You give money and cement and ask for their massive vote. You are going to scheme and do things that will result causing financial lose to Ghana. This is also vote buying in broad daylight. Is this not what you accuse the government of on daily basis?

If this is not corruption I don't know what is. NPP and Akufo Addo are so confused they can't tell what is it that will win them the election so they are just jumping up and down for nothing.
