Why treating this as a civil case when these crooks should already be on remand and awaiting trials. Were this a "common" criminal he would have been begging for a bail by now even for a lesser degree of crime.

These judges know the law inside out, you are talking about 34 experienced judges, some of the brightest law luminaries in the country and simple-minded Ghanaians think this is going to be an open and shut case. Why are we so naive?? Folks sit on their computers and write comments as though they are law professors.

As horrible as it may sound, these judges will wiggle their way out of this case, otherwise it will demean our judiciary entirely. Why do you think the BNI and other agencies are not picking them up?? It's not as cut-and-dry as it looks, everyone involved is treading cautiously because one breach of the law and the entire case becomes foolish.

By the way, as much as there is corruption in this country, the possibility that these judges have done deals with certain 'BIG PEOPLE' is very high, therefore the CJ and other people might have their hands tied to avoid even bigger scandal of these judges also naming names and revealing accomplices.

Their prosecution is highly improbable, and in as much as it sucks, this case is dead in the water, why do you think they are being extra careful?? The judges can collapse this country, 34 corrupt judges are just too much, with too many damning secrets to allow themselves to be humiliated further.

I heard on of the lawyers saying that he was enticed to commit the crime to wit taking bride to obstruct and manipulate the law in the interest of a suspect. There are cases in the U.S. when FBI and CIA use their employees and agents to entice criminals to commit crimes in their presence and be arrested. It seems that the judges want to say that they should be present at the crime scene before they convict the criminal.
