NDC Volta, and NPP Ashanti is the Ghanas disease. Ashanties would vote massively for NPP while Ewes vehemently vote for NDC regardless of failures in policy to better the basic standard of living for the Ghanaians. It is about time the ordinary Ghanaian learns to vote in accordance with the true impact of politics in his life. If one pretends that today Ghana is moving in a right direction then he must have a good reason. The electorates in the western countries are always very flexible and dynamic when it comes to one's political party and voting pattern. E.g. Tony Abbott in Australia- one term president. Why is Mr. Abott only one term president? Ghanaians must learn that. Please don't allow NPP/NDC to take advantage of your vote for this could halt the National development. I could not wait to see Ghanaians vote honestly to elect their future leaders. I want to see NDC amass more votes honestly in the Ashanti Region as the opposite is true for NPP in the Volta Region. At the end of the day Ghana is the winner for choosing the best leader.

This is the reason why none of the Officials has ever declared their assets as required by the Constitution, prior to taking up their appointments.

They get into their new positions with virtually nothing and loot our
funds under various pretexts to leave as multi-millionaires.

If President Mahama claims to be a real Christian, he should order for such revelation of the Bank Accounts of all his Officials, and have them explain any excesses beyond what they could have legally acquired.

This is even the local Accounts we are talking about. How about any hidden foreign Accounts owned by these folks?

I pray the World Court to include looting of State Assets as crimes against Humanity for which the guilty could be imprisoned for life and their assets confiscated to the countries they stole from.

Now that Ken has revealed this about the Chief of Staff, all others who may be guilty of similar ill-gotten wealth and shored up accounts will rush to withdraw their funds to hide them elsewhere.

Democracy allows free expression in any manner as provided within the law. Even if all the voters in one geographical block vote one way, or share their votes evenly or unevenly for the candidates, there is nothing wrong about it democratically if that is their free expression.
The current voting patterns do not deserve any condemnation. An election is like a trial by jury in which case all the registered voters are the august panelists. Just as we are not allowed to question or criticize, for instance, a 9-man jury for turning out a 9-0, or 7-2, or 6-3 or 5-4 verdict one way or the other irrespective of the arguments brought before them, so must we not question how voters vote. They have the freedom to vote this way or that way based on their own (and not on any so-called wise man's) understanding.
A voting pattern tells a coded story which those who have interest in the result of the voting must try to decipher if they intend to change it because no condition is permanent. If for instance, NDC or NPP want to increase their votes in the Ashanti or the Volta Regions respectively, they must be wise enough to know what to do differently. This is true for all the other Regions. The interested parties must be sensitive enough to discern why particular voters always vote against them so that they can change their ways accordingly. It is not the voters who must change but rather, it is those who demand their votes that must change. That is how to evolve democracy.
