Should the police be called at all in Ghana on any occasion or can we do without law and order agencies in Ghana, Prof. Ken Attafuah? You and other Professors in our Ghana must decide to be principled or put yourselves out there for rent/hire so there is no doubt your assessments, evaluations and conclusions are bought and sold. Citizens who choose to not obey police commands must be stopped dead in their tracks just as police officers who do not adhere to the laws of Ghana should face the music from our courts.

Should the Ghana Police forces have allowed these hoodlums to roam free where they please and reserve their enforcement of our laws on others the NPP elite class do not like? We have fools in Ghana and do have most of those fools as members of Ghana's political and educated class; it is at that level people make ignorant remarks to incite people.

There are no convincing reasons for a new voter register in Ghana period. We cannot have a full proof voter ID unless and until we have a means of knowing rightful Ghanaian citizens and those who are not. Unfortunately our constitution by dummies made everyone who has a drop of Ghanaian blood running through their veins Ghanaians. It is also factual that most Ghanaians over the age of 50 years do not have birth certificates to prove citizenship in Ghana. Anyone who thinks getting someone to provide/bear witness that one is a Ghanaian is just as empty headed as the next pig. If a Nigerians who has lived in Ghana over a number of years but never naturalized should vouch for a neighbor should it make it legal for the neighbor/person to be sworn as valid to obtain a voter ID? If Ghana cannot guarantee that ownership of Ghanaian passport is full proof that the holder of the passport is a Ghanaian then how the heck can a voter ID be?

Is it therefore unwise for the Ghana government to sanction foolishness as a norm? What does that make the participants in a meaningless demonstration that at minimum became the root of the noise pollution that ensued?

It is indeed a sad day in Ghana for the police to have charged on innocent people, assaulting them for no apparent reason and then in addition to that charging them on two counts: obstruction of police officers and causing unlawful damage. This is really a joke. Is Ghana Police Department serious? The Big answer is "NO".
