JDM, you cannot stab the back of Police Offifers in the line of fire for excuting their duties. The so called LMVCA are nation wreckers whose agenda is to create chaos in Ghana. Don't fall a victim to their crocodile tears. Summon the leaders of LMVCA for transgresion of the law and give them hefty fines to serve as a deterrent for would be nation detractors. Kofi, FYI, you need permit from the police to ensure your demonstration. By so doing, they ensure that your safety is guatanteed. When the police has no idea, then your demonstration is illegal even if its a peaceful one.

Ghanaians are calling on the immediate interdiction and investigation pending prosecution of all culpable officers involved in this sadistic savagery and thuggery by the police command under the John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't.
Democracy calls for a higher standard of conduct and tolerance of the rights of each and every citizen in and of this country and Ghanaians will not expect nothing less.
Now, talking about the so-called legally permitted route, since when did a football park, pitch or turf become an institution, Ghanaians have mandated to conduct elections in this country in our democracy? Is a football park now according to John Dramani Mahama and his NDC gov't the EC's offices? And which Judge approved the so-called legally permitted route that led to a football park, turf or pitch in this country as the offices of the EC? Clearly, there is a lot of things not only wrong with the thinking and reasoning of the Mahama-led NDC gov't, but a very huge problem with the kind of jurisprudence emanating from their surrogates on the Bench as to be described as very, very dangerous.
The EC office is not a security zone and Ghanaians should be allowed to present their petition to the EC, the institution or body Ghanaians have given their mandate to conduct elections in this country and not a football park, turf or pitch.
In that regard, freedom and peace-loving Ghanaians all over the country are being called upon to join other like minded Ghanaians in presenting their petition to the offices of the EC, the institution Ghanaians have mandated to receive any such petition specifically concerned with electoral processes and procedures underpinning our democracy.

On the other hand he is there for all Ghanaians(a father for all Ghanaians)and must be free from all sort of biases. He had demonstrated a good sense of leadership and must be applauded for it. Excellent leaders always devoid of actions of divisive in nature. They wholeheartedly embrace honesty as is the key to good leadership. Honestly speaking, the actions of the Ghana police force is very appalling! Ghana is not under the military rule any longer so the police must abide by the democratic rules of law in the country. It is about time our leaders begin to hold accountable all police brutalities-that are contrary to the rule of law in the country. The police should not forget the fact that if they continue to take the laws into their own hands without being addressed by the authorities, the citizens could retaliate in various means. May God help the police! I challenge the authorities to embark on vigorous training exercise so the police would acquire all the necessary skills needed to serve the nation.
