The answer is simple. Just decentralize the energy sector and empower communities and villages to run their own solar energy. Within a few days training any electrician can do the job of two-phase alternating current. If the demand arises they can add a third to become three phase alternating current to run heavy engines and factories. Should the communities and villages have any surplus energy it is only then that could be transfered/added to the national grid. This is truly easy solution to the energy crisis we are currently facing but you guys are bereft of ideas hence going in cirles.
If you need help as to how to kick start such a cheap solar project let me know. You guys are a bunch of lazy thinkers. God save our homeland Ghana from poor leadership.

Purchasing new generators whilst we have idle and sometimes new generators already in place is another one of the issues we need to resolve. This clearly is causing financial loss to the state and the President and energy minister must explain this to us.

Oh when will the NDC government come to us the truth?
Nothing wanting but the truth. For almost four years all we have heard from the NDC is lies upon lies. Ghana needs to be told the truth.

The rot Mr Tekper is moaning about is distinctively part of the ruling NDC government's incompetency. Here you have a very poor ruling Party with corrupt political figures in charge of all the essential public amenities, who have no knowledge of basic understanding of what to do in their occupied run-down elevated positions. Yet when things do go wrong you the NDC administrators quickly take the easiest and quickest way out, that is put the blame on the least public offenders. Please tell me, Mr Tekperichy, how many illegally-connected house holds can be found in the whole country, to be blamed as the cause, and the eventual breakdown of Ghana's unbearable energy crisis? Sir, put the blame on poor NDC administration and the incompetent President.

Why cant ECG supply free prepaid meters to every household than frustrating people who are even ready to pay to minimise the illegal connection. I think this will help ECG mobilise more revenue .
