If these Ghanaian judges are busy sending fowl, goat, sheep & tortoise thieves to jail (prison), then it is equally justified that they are also sent to jail for "stealing money aka taking bribes." Because, Stealing is stealing and judges, who are appointed to uphold the laws of the land should even be held to STRICT LIABILITY.

They're thieves and if found guilty, they should be jailed for longer terms. I think Ghana has intentionally or by default stumbled on something to help the nation combat bribery. This case should be used as a watershed to WARN and DETER others; judges, politicians, government officials and civil servants that if they take bribes and they're caught, they would be severely dealt with. Maybe, this will help to reduce the runaway level of bribery and corruption in the country.

Again, out thanks to ANAS for his investigative work. However, the clergy is by no means CLEAN either!! A higher percentage of the clergy is corrupt and bitterly in competition for properties—worldly possessions, something they’re supposed to preach against. So, if you live in a glass house, don’t throw out stones!!

Great inpute! All institutions in Ghana must emulate the clergy. Ghanaians must hold anybody who violates the law accountable regardless of rank, religion, race, or party affiliation. That's how we move forward as a nation. These criminals have contributed to the rising crime in the country by allowing the culprits walk free on our streets with their diabolic activities while the innocents were convicted. The're contribution to the high crime rate in Ghana has also made the nation ungovernable, financial loss to the state, numerous loss of innocent lives. They must be punished severely while Anas kind of anti curruption agencies must be broaddened in the nation. If the successful nations like the U.S. are using these anti curruption strategies as dependable tools to their benefits why can't Ghana do the same?

Sorry to say that our Country Ghana has become a kind of Goerge Owell's animal farm were by some citizens are treated more leniently than others,this is how grieved ninety percent of Ghanains feel right now, therefore the Rule of Law and Order of this Country must prove it is there for all by decending heavily on these ruthless unpatriotic corrupt Judges and their compatriots trying to shade them,for their acts of bribery and corruption going on uninterrupted for so many years have tainted the image of Mother Ghana and crippled the state of our economic and many more....

You guys have become so materialistic, mean and corrupt, to the extent that you have simply forgotten whose job you are really doing. I know a bishop who is in the habit of taking his share of his priests' project solicitation funds, and then at the end of the project period, actually certifying to the donors that the projects have been successfully completed, knowing very well that, such isn't the case. Do I have to name names???
