That was not the first time a NIgerian paid bribe and escaped from that prison,it happened during the Kufour regime and that guy who escaped at Nsawam Hospital was never rearrested,that place is a corrupt institution.

Why are you singling out only Nsawam prison as a corrupt institution? The whole gamut of your government, right from the head thief, Mahama, is very, very, very corrupt. Get this incontrovertible fact in your cranium too.

How and why must the DG be the one to answer? The story simply does not add up. These stories they plant and twist against individuals. Somebody just wants to bring the lady before the fire. Does she work at Nsawam? Shame

Actually, I don't think DGP, Matilda Baffour Awuah has the "inside knowledge" of how the escape happened. There should be a thorough investigation into how this fraudster managed to escape. It's uncommon for prison officers/guards taking bribes and helping prisoners escape.

just to be mean and wicked and to set example for the future, i will sack 10 senior officers from each prison in ghana and 20 or more senior officers including the the director of prisons. while at it, i will also fire 20 or more senior officers from each of all the security institutions in the country plus 10 to 20 senior people from the ministry of interior. or degrade all to junior ranks to freshmen. but for me to be able to do this i will have to be the president of ghana. and as the sole person in charge i will have to resign my post as the president of ghana. which i am not!

Whereas i do not believe the prison boss is directly responsible for the guy's outbreak from prison, she should set up an internal investigation of her own and should definitely come up with something to exonerate hers ...

Secondly we would like to know the judge who sat on this case.He should really be investigated because this is clearly not an "anas set-up". The guy who stole tubers of yam got 10 years.And this guy got 5 years? He must have had a very good defence lawyer.....perhaps if no money changed hands with the judge.Facts of the whole case should be brought up...again
