Does the NDC government think, despite the massive corruption, they can borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, when the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and over taxed?

Governance under the NDC government is all about deceit and 'opium of the people'. They enjoy everything under the sun but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they have already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they asked us to wait for a paradise in three years. Maybe it is because he (Mahama) bribed his way to the presidency. Maybe Otumfuo, Kofi Anan, Rev. Asante of Peace Council should ALL step up and say something.

Conditions in Ghana are FAR worse than the problems that initiated the (pseudo) revolution in motion. I have always have the suspicion that, Rawlings revolution has always been about Tribalism, and not real call for CHANGE. The AFRC, PNDC and now NDC have FOOOOOOOLED Ghanaians.

NDC came to destroy all the good policies instituted by NPP including, School Feeding Program, Free Maternal Care, National Insurance Scheme, District Assembly Common Fund and the Metro Mass Transportation system among others. They have managed to destroy all of these programs. How callous could they be than this? And finally they have stolen all assets belonging to Ghana, selling all to themselves as beneficiaries. They have stolen Ghana's bulky money in the treasury and last but not the least; they have created Gyeeda, Woyome, Sada, Subah, Merchant Bank, all in the name of judgment debt but rather criminally sharing the monies among themselves. How dare you? I mean how cruel are you to behave like this? NDC is typical in stealing, killing and destroying just as Satan the devil.

Wherever NDC is found, there is corruption, stealing, destruction and or killing of innocent humans. NDC came first to kill Ghanaians. For instance, they killed high court judges for no reason; including Justice Koranteng Addow a nursing mother, and two other high court judges among thousands of innocent civilians, burnt them to ashes. NDC came to destroy all the good policies instituted by NPP including, School Feeding Program, Free Maternal Care, National Insurance Scheme, District Assembly Common Fund and the Metro Mass Transportation system among others. They have managed to destroy all of these programs. How callous could they be than this? And finally they have stolen all assets belonging to Ghana, selling all to themselves as beneficiaries. They have stolen Ghana's bulky money in the treasury and last but not the least; they have created Gyeeda, Woyome, Sada, Subah, Merchant Bank, all in the name of judgment debt but rather criminally sharing the monies among themselves. How dare you? I mean how cruel are you to behave like this? NDC is typical in stealing, killing and destroying just as Satan the devil.

NDC government thinks, despite the massive corruption, they can still borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, when the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and over taxed?

Governance under the NDC government is all about deceit and 'opium of the people'. They enjoy everything under the sun but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they have already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they asked us to wait for a paradise in three years. The only qualifications the women need to bring to the table is to have had sex with John Mahama (and with his Brother Ibrahim).

Fellow Ghanaians especially DSTV subscribers, I think it's high time we fought this stupidity by the DSTV operators.
Dstv has effectively 1st October increased its subscription by Ghs 36, which means premium service consumers will pay Ghs 395 for a service which at the beginning of the year was around Ghs 235.
Now the question many of us need to ask is why these exorbitant increases in subscription?
Dstv transmits from South Africa where the Rand is relatively stable (and for close to 15 years has traded with the Dollar within the region of Rand 11-12) to other unstable economy like ours.
Their main operational cost in Ghana is electricity which does not experience frequent price increases to warrant their frequent increases in their subscription, their skeleton staff here in Ghana whose main function is receipt of payment of bills and reconnection are paid in Cedis without frequent changes in their salaries.
Dstv enjoys economy of scale transmitting all across Africa with South Africa being the lowest subscription fee country and Ghana amongst the highest fee countries. The frequent increase in subscription in the unstable Currency economies does not make economic sense since such relativities in the operational cost resulting from unstable currency need to be distributed evenly across their coverage region.
Most of their programmes are repeated more than 10 times within a month except football which per its nature (ie frequency of matches played in a week) does not permit such repetition. Hence no justification for the constant rise or indexing their transmission in Dollars.
There are other equally transmission services providers such as Vodafone, Tigo, Globacom, MTN whose charges are relatively stable, besides, having their transmission plants situated in Ghana unlike Dstv, and are more likely to be affected by the instability in our currency, so how can another be taking Ghanaians and other African nationals other than South Africans for a ride?
Due to our weak or non existent consumer protection body, businesses come to our shores to exploit us. A typical example is MTN, though their charges are relatively stable, but whereas they operate in most economies including South Africa and some Asian countries, the bulk of their profit (over 60%) to their global profit is posted from Ghana, WHY?
Another question is even if some subscribers such as the hoteliers are using the Dstv for commercial gains and for that matter can manage their charges to contain such exorbitant increases, how many of such hotels are on the clientele list of Dstv to warrant such indiscriminate increases in their subscription without recourse to the individual private consumer?
Finally and not exhaustive and the least of my considerations, are we as Ghanaians deriving the utmost benefits from these high subscription, where we are charged monthly whether viewed or not? In South Africa you are charged according to viewership, that is you pay as you view, but in Ghana the story is different and the worst and the nauseating part of it is when it rains.
We pay for both rainy and sunny days but transmission is for only sunny days.
Are we not being exploited and for how long do we sit unconcerned for this mayhem to be visited on us as a people? This is not a war for only Dstv users, let all meaning Ghanaians support this cause to prove to other like minded services providers that Ghanaians are getting awoken to their economics right and will not allow themselves to be continually exploited. Let us all users and as many who support this cause converge at the Dstv regional offices across the country on 31st October, 2015 at 11am to register our displeasure in a peaceful manner and beyond that boycott the services if nothing is done.

Total Number of Judges Sampled is 45 and how many of them passed the test of bribe collection and the answer is a whooping 34 constituting 75%. Maybe if Anas had tested all the Judges the percentage of those who passed the test of bribe collection would have gone up since the likes of Justice Francis Obiri and Justice Richard Agyei Frimpong were not sampled. Those judges who failed the test and did not take bribe are just a mere 11 representing 25%. You see, Mahama is is not knowledgeable yet he has imposed himself on us that is why Ghanaians are suffering. I am not a university graduate yet I know better.

President Mahama is a big, fat, hairy joke. I have been going to court in Ghana over an expensive piece of Real Estate for the past 5 years. The sad news; The merit of the case is not being even dealt with because the judges are not interested. They want technicalities to rule the day because this is where they extend cases for years and fleece lawyers and innocent Ghanaians.
In my five years I have met foreigners, yet most of them white in court who have absolutely regretted ever coming to Ghana. Even I, a Ghanaian will no longer invest in the country because God help me if I need the courts for redress. It's a total joke for Mahama to spew such stupidity. I just don't know what he has been drinking and please have someone check it. In most parts of the world where people are sane, the courthouse is not a place where litigants meet for more than twice. Ghana's case is absurd. I say boycott the stupid courts and let's go back to the chiefs for arbitration. It's less painful to say the least. The fancy buildings can be used for something else.

Is the President serious? It is a sad commentary of his weak leadership that the executive, who is charged with executing the laws of the land, will make this statement about what is a clear and obvious violation of laws. He should be up in arms railing against them, asking that the CJ be impeached for incompetence and executing the law by getting the AG to fully and vigorously prosecute these individuals. They should be in jail. First, the police who should be engaged in investigating these crimes have failed to do so. It fell on a private investigator to do the sting. In the face of what is clear, convincing and overwhelming evidence of criminal conduct, the President is saying "they may or may not be guilty", what possible defense do these guys have which would render them not guilty. They were caught red-handed, on tape, soliciting and accepting bribes, WHAT MORE EVIDENCE DO YOU NEED? The CJ should close this kangaroo investigation, they should be arrested, arraigned before the court and prosecuted for violating the bribery laws.

In the United States these judges would never be brought to court, the U.S. president wouldn't be implicated, and the matter would be left up to the Department of Justice. Two Supreme Court Justices have been photographed and recorded at political events and these are impeachable offenses however nothing has happened.
Five of the largest financial institutions in America were found guilty of fixing interest and currency rates. They were fined 5 billion dollars, which came from us the tax payers, and no one went to jail and they won't go to jail. Give the president a chance.

The question is will Atuguba be given the chance to declare John Mahama as having won any elections again, the answer depends on you. Come out in your numbers and massively, massively send John Dramani Mahama's NDC gov't packing at the ballot box in 2016.

Fellow Ghanaians especially DSTV subscribers, I think it's high time we fought this stupidity by the DSTV operators.
Dstv has effectively 1st October increased its subscription by Ghs 36, which means premium service consumers will pay Ghs 395 for a service which at the beginning of the year was around Ghs 235.
Now the question many of us need to ask is why these exorbitant increases in subscription?
Dstv transmits from South Africa where the Rand is relatively stable (and for close to 15 years has traded with the Dollar within the region of Rand 11-12) to other unstable economy like ours.
Their main operational cost in Ghana is electricity which does not experience frequent price increases to warrant their frequent increases in their subscription, their skeleton staff here in Ghana whose main function is receipt of payment of bills and reconnection are paid in Cedis without frequent changes in their salaries.
Dstv enjoys economy of scale transmitting all across Africa with South Africa being the lowest subscription fee country and Ghana amongst the highest fee countries. The frequent increase in subscription in the unstable Currency economies does not make economic sense since such relativities in the operational cost resulting from unstable currency need to be distributed evenly across their coverage region.
Most of their programmes are repeated more than 10 times within a month except football which per its nature (ie frequency of matches played in a week) does not permit such repetition. Hence no justification for the constant rise or indexing their transmission in Dollars.
There are other equally transmission services providers such as Vodafone, Tigo, Globacom, MTN whose charges are relatively stable, besides, having their transmission plants situated in Ghana unlike Dstv, and are more likely to be affected by the instability in our currency, so how can another be taking Ghanaians and other African nationals other than South Africans for a ride?
Due to our weak or non existent consumer protection body, businesses come to our shores to exploit us. A typical example is MTN, though their charges are relatively stable, but whereas they operate in most economies including South Africa and some Asian countries, the bulk of their profit (over 60%) to their global profit is posted from Ghana, WHY?
Another question is even if some subscribers such as the hoteliers are using the Dstv for commercial gains and for that matter can manage their charges to contain such exorbitant increases, how many of such hotels are on the clientele list of Dstv to warrant such indiscriminate increases in their subscription without recourse to the individual private consumer?
Finally and not exhaustive and the least of my considerations, are we as Ghanaians deriving the utmost benefits from these high subscription, where we are charged monthly whether viewed or not? In South Africa you are charged according to viewership, that is you pay as you view, but in Ghana the story is different and the worst and the nauseating part of it is when it rains.
We pay for both rainy and sunny days but transmission is for only sunny days.
Are we not being exploited and for how long do we sit unconcerned for this mayhem to be visited on us as a people? This is not a war for only Dstv users, let all meaning Ghanaians support this cause to prove to other like minded services providers that Ghanaians are getting awoken to their economics right and will not allow themselves to be continually exploited. Let us all users and as many who support this cause converge at the Dstv regional offices across the country on 31st October, 2015 at 11am to register our displeasure in a peaceful manner and beyond that boycott the services if nothing is done.
