Nothing good can come from a party that has done palace coup to its own elected officials. Nothing good can come from a party which does not trust its own popularly elected executives - a party whose bank accounts are hidden from their elected leaders.
To say there is no problem within the NPP is to deny the obvious. I am sure very soon, Sir John will perhaps want us to believe that their Regional chairman, Adam Mahama died of malaria. May be he Sir John should talk to Akufo Addo, the man at the root of the problem in NPP.

Nana Afriyie, who had spent his whole life in his village, comes to visit a friend. He'd never seen a train or the tracks they run on. While standing in the middle of the rail tracks one day, he hears this whistle -- Whooee da Whoee! -- but doesn't know what it is.
Predictably, he's hit and is thrown to the side of the tracks. It was only a glancing blow, so he was fortunate to receive some minor internal injuries, a few broken bones, and some bruises.
After weeks in the hospital recovering, he's at his friend's house attending a party one evening. While in the kitchen, he suddenly hears the teakettle whistling. He grabs a iron rod from the nearby shelf and proceeds to batter and bash the teakettle into an unrecognizable lump of metal. His friend, hearing the ruckus, rushes into the kitchen, sees what's happened and asks the desert man, "Why did you ruin my good tea kettle?"
The desert man replies, "Man, you gotta kill these things when they're small."

Obviously I know this man for so long and never want to loss my respect for him. However, he has to underlying the issue of extensively how money influences politics is the original sin of everyone who's ever run for power. Including Nana Addo to get elected,he need to raise huge sums of money by meeting and dealing with ppl who are disproportionately wealthy. So now the whole issue of money in politics is one that Nana is constantly struggling with,bcos Nana's preference would be that NPP got public financing of compaigns and nobody has to raise money whatsoever. So the biggest advantage that big money has in politics of a full time lobbyist and then ignor top guys in the party,like Kuffour,Kyeremateng,Mr mpianim,Afoko,Kwabena Agyapong and the rest.
