Both are good, but I give Dede the edge because of his defending and play-making. Asamoah is one-dimensional player as a striker, albeit a very good striker.

Asamoah Gyan is a complete player who scores with his head and both feet.Dede seems to be only in good in the air,and hardly scores with his both feet.Out of the 4 goals he has scored,3 of them were aerial prowess.
