GHANA HAS HAD NUCLEAR REACTORS SINCE NKRUMAH'S DAYS.
WHAT HAS GHANA BENEFITTED FROM NKRUMAH'S NUCLEAR REACTORS?
NOTHING!
THOSE "WHITE ELEPHANT" NUCLEAR REACTORS AT KWABENYA ARE NOW AN EYESORE.

It is very sad to hear some Ghanaians talk about their country in such a way. One can readily sense bitterness and hatred in their choice of words. The fact that some politicians have disappointed us should not make us hate our only country. Do you think that other country's are not facing challenges with their development? Read the story well, do some internet research on Ghana's Nuclear Power Programme, listen to ongoing debates on the topic and you realize that Ghana was there just as other countries mentioned to learn from the experiences of others and change things. Not a fun fair or holidays for the participants. We need to learn some good practices for our NPP. thanks

When wise people are meeting on nuclear power, what is Ghana's business over there? What can Ghana manage? Please, leave us to stay our somewhere.

IT IS AVOUT TIME GHANA LEADERS REALIZED THE SAD FACT THAT THEY ARE USELESS, AND NOT CAPABLE OF MANAGING ANYTHING BENEFICIALLY TO GHANA, THANKS TO THE MANY YEARS OF GOVERNMENT SUBVENTION TO VERY POTENTIALLY PROFITABLE STRATEGIC STATE INSTITUTIONS ESTAVLISHED BY NKRUMAH.

I copied the following from the article "Ghana has representatives one each from the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission and the Ghana News Agency to contribute to the various discussions and discourse". This is a very important technical meeting and I believe Ghana is there to learn from Japan's experience and may be to lobby for a possible Nuclear Power project in Ghana. But is the representation enough? What about the representation from the Universities (either Lectures and/or students)? Two is just a laugh.
