Even if Qatar agree it will be just a symbolic as they will negotiate for the control of whole operation.
So the idea of a national airline will be sold for the best bidder instead of encouraging a local partnership.

The marriage between Air Lanka and Emirates airline was not made in heaven and broke off, I believe, in five years or so. So, Ghana's consideration to go with Qatar Airways in setting up a new airline should not be guided by how much undertable money will change hands, but how beneficial the relationship would be to both parties. Other alternative is to study the Ethopian Airlines model and how they have been so successful even during the civil war years in the country. For sure, corruption will spell the doom of any aviation venture in the country no matter how much resources Ghana pumps into the airline.
