At some point in the regime of President Kufour I thought we are getting real police professionals performing their duties without fear or favor. Then came the NDC led government and every effort made to restore the public respect and trust in the police all gone to the dogs.

Why will the police allow themsleves to be used by a nobody like Akua Donkor? The answer is simple. Akua Donkor and the police suspect her leaked tape condemning Mahama to the press was passed by one of her executives and therefore she should find some means to show them where power lies and the police are happy to waste the tax man,s money and time into that stupid allegation, why?

Our police service is hugely today tribal based and big time politicized only to serve the interest of the unscrupulous criminally corrupt Mahama led government full with riffraff whose game is using the police to intimidate political opponents and people who they see as their critics.

The retired but contracted IGP and his notorious unprofessionl team led devilish man-woman Rose Atinga all of northern decent think deeply it's about a northern government ruling and they are the supportive northern made police to back the tyrant criminals.

They have allowed corruption to become endemic and to be prioritized over and above public discipline and legal formalities.

They have desecrated the respect that was once associated with pubic office to the extent that everybody now thinks that public office holders - from the Presidency all the way down to District Assemblies and state agencies are all occupied by a bunch of uncouth, vulgar, indisciplined, corrupt, philandering fools and unenlightened bush-boys and girls.

As for the Police service we have to admit that they have not in recent times had the posture of the kind of Police service that a serious country should have, but all the same, they (the NDC govt) have only managed to worsen an already bad situation by virtually privatizing the Ghana Police Service and using the service to protect, defend and to advance their corrupt interests.
