Even though there were many lessons learned during the last elections due the election court dispute etc., it does not seem that the EC at this 11th hour has a strategy in place to resolve some of the issues raised. Usually, you get demonstrations and all the outside noise if you don't have an effective system. EC asked for a submission of complaints from the parties rather than EC taking control and setting the agenda. I am disappointed in the new commissioner, the position is over her head. If she continues this way I think the elections would be messier than the last.

Just say your kid is sick or you'd find out if he is really sick. If he is sick, can he go to school or needs a rest at home or go to see the doctor or go to the emergency. This call for assessment. Meaning, you question the child and feel him out by touching his forehead and so on.

Here the EC is doing just that, asking the relevant questions. The EC need to know what is true, but the spoilt child's friends don't want the parent to do due diligence. Thinking they are going to get aways with bogus complaint becoming the truth AS USUAL.

Voters register bloated with foreigners names wasn't one of the
allegations. We are talking about the same register now. If supreme court had nullified the 4.5 mil votes NPP demanded Nana Addo would have accepted the revered victory to be the president. Isn't that ironic?

If Mahamah says that in the past questionable names found in the
register are cleaned he was saying exactly what all the political parties know was done. It is less expensive. From what I see if EC and their IT team are able to flush out undesirable names, if they exist, from the register and copies given to all parties for review and study with
ample time before elections NPP will still not accept it. What is the guarantee that compilation of new voters register would be free from undesirable names. If a blind person insists he will stone you more likely he has his foot on a stone. A word to the wise is enough. Going to British Parliament is a sign of desperation. Why betray the integrity of our sovereign electoral system. When NDC wins elections, NPP condemns EC. When NPP wins elections NDC condemns EC. Is there a problem with EC or the corrupt greedy political parties.

What Ghana has done in the past on all the occasions that the register has been found to be bloated, compromised and discredited is not to clean it up. Ghana has always, always, always compiled a new, credible, and acceptable electoral register when there is such overwhelming evidence of a compromised register such as minors, nationals of other neighboring countries, stapled pictures of registrants which shows a compromised IT dept of the EC, when the Courts say registrants on the roll wit NHIS cards are not acceptable, etc, etc we don't clean it up, more so when members of your own NDC party blow the whistle on how the NDC party has compromised the register, we don't clean it up.
What we do is we throw the whole document out of the window faraway from all right thinking, well meaning and fair minded members of society and get a new credible and uncompromised voters register.
John Dramani Mahama should thus allow the EC to work and ensure the funds needed to compile the new, credible and uncompromised voters register is available immediately to start that process.
Ghana needs a new register NOW!!!.
