After Mills found Betty Moulds guilty of judgement debt payments the only thing he could do was to move her to the Education dept to continue her looting. Readers would recall that Betty Mounds was the one who awarded SCHOOL building contracts at a triple price of the existing contract sum of some GH 80,000.00. And this happened at a time when they claim inflation was in the single digits. Could you imargin how foolish these criminal liars were. Kuffour built similar structures with 80,000 at a time when inflation was around 14.8% and under Mills it was 240,000 at a rate of 8.8%. And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one by contracting Togolese Trokosis, Burkinabe and Wangaras from La Cote D'ivoire to vote for them, the " Road To Kigare", is sometimes, a likely option to kick their ass from power.

The PNDC era from December 31st 1981 to 1992 brought about much of the indiscipline and that is what people 40 and under witnessed. The PDC and WDC members were appointed to boards and these were mainly messengers and people without much technical background in their work areas. "We no go sit down make you cheat us everyday" was the mantra. He has hit the nail right on the head. Rawlings promoted indiscipline. Period.

If you read carefully and objectively what Rawlings said in his speech you will begin to have a second opinion of the root causes of what happened. The start of the real indiscipline was the 24th Feb coup 1966. What the generals and the senior officer corps of the military and their civilian cohorts were doing in those days started the indiscipline. It taught us that you can overthrow a democracy and get away with it. That paved the way for other coups. So blaming Rawlings for indiscipline in Ghana today is just wrong. It started long before then. Consider that in less than a year after Dr Nkrumah was elected as prime minister there were attempts to kill him and overthrow his government. Remember R R Amponsah and others? That is when the indiscipline started. May be the prof is not old enough to remember this history.

No parent complained of not being able to pay for their wards fees, the CMB, government scholarships were giving to deserving students and mostly those brilliant but needy students from poor homes. Rawlings revolution was a type of hatred and enviness as if some tribes were gods who allocated blessings to themselves and left others. Was that their ethnic cleansing part of middle class looting the poor, and was that agenda of destroying the economy of one part of ghanaians a middle class matter? They had their own agenda which since 1979 up till now couldn't finish and being continued by his ndc 'BUT' who JAH bless no man can curse. You people will never succeed, because what you people forget is wisdom and knowledge is something you can never take away and these two constitute success. You can steal all Ghana's resources to be rich but if you don't have wisdom and knowledge it will amount to nothing and you will end up in trouble, that's what ndc is afraid now and panicking at the mention of the name of the opposition party.

Be realistic Akosa. He did not introduce corruption into the system it was his method of righting the so-called wrongs that left much to be desired. He corrected nothing. He replaced one group of thieves with another and basically metastasized the cancer that was in existence, if I may use a term the professor is well-acquainted with. Rawlings did not introduce indiscipline he only made it possible for anyone including people in the lower echelons of the society to join the corruption movement under the guise of cleansing the system. Schoolboys looked up to Rawlings and felt they needed to take over their schools. The legacy of Rawlings is indiscipline and chaos as is being seen in the country now.

My regret concerning Rawlings is his attempt to erase Ghana's past and the impression created to the present generation that Ghana was nothing before the advent of Rawlings. Our true history is no longer taught in our schools. The true heroes of our past must be restored. Let those who stood for the truth, honesty, love of country, selflessness, incorruptibility, and all that is good and just be restored to their positions of respect. The PNDC era from December 31st 1981 to 1992 brought about much of the indiscipline and that is what people 40 and under witnessed. The PDC and WDC members were appointed to boards and these were mainly messengers and people without much technical background in their work areas. The whole notion of tribalism is anathema to Christian values as per the Christian Bible most wield around as tools to condemn others. Which tribe amongst the tribes in Ghana can lay claim to any creation and or hold the corner market on wisdom and or intellect? Yet we have allowed the farce of tribal superiority syndrome to drive national agenda of governing parties. We could not have tribes ready to shield and defend one of their own in the face of unbridled mismanagement, thievery, nepotism and corruption all while laying claim to superiority or discipline.

Let’s face it the problems we have in Ghana are side effect of a "freed" society that is yet to understand that freedoms as enumerated in the US constitution and constitutions of other western nations we pretend to emulate come with a price, responsibility and punishment. It just so happen that the people who shout from rooftop level about the post 1966 freedoms are the very ones who did not stay in Ghana to ensure those freedoms were as envisioned but are elsewhere in the Diaspora throwing shade at the very mother Ghana they helped plant and institute screwed up ideals with their pipe dreams.

By the way, even in the USA where the national government has viable safety net for its citizens, there continues to be crimes and flashes of indiscipline which the founding father could find troubling. My challenge is this; if and when we get to a place and time in Ghana when there is zero unemployment we will get to live in a tranquil and peaceful place where crime will be a thing of the past. If you ask me, I will tell you the people who help nurture criminal activities in Ghana are the rich people in society we know stole money from the government. After all why should people suffer in private when they see the lifestyle of the thieving rich and non-working famous?

The whole nation was in bondage being raped by the people in authority and the masses had no where to go as the judges were equally corrupt. It was an era of whom you know with no regards for human and individual rights. We started to go back to the same rot during the 8 years of Kufour's rule and Anas has just confirmed that. At least after the traumatic revolution there was a resemblance of discipline until the rule of Kufour who unleashed indiscipline in the name of democracy. Ghanaians should ask Kwaku Baako Jnr why he supported the June 4th Revolution (the event that introduce Rawlings onto the political scene in Ghana).

Once upon the time, there was a military leader of Ghana by name Ignatius Kutu Acheampong from Atwima (Kufour's hometown). This Acheampong man was so corrupt, his own deputy Akufo overthrew him in a palace court.

Under Kutu Acheampong and Akufo, Ghana had things like kalabule, zinabu, fa wu tu ber ji golf, you have to queue to buy sugar, bread, milk, and kenkey. Things were this bad. May be the good professor is no so old he is suffering from amnesia.

Factories were all run down all over the country. Things were that bad! The elite in society were running amok. There was virtually no justice for the poor and the unconnected.

Come in Rawlings and his group. Trust me, there was far more discipline after June 4th than any other time in Ghana's history. Ghana was a better place! Ask Kwaku Baaku to tell you the whole story. I say things were better.

Then came in the cry for DEMOCRACY (Freedom to do whatever you want). So some loudmouths, intelligentsia, and others aggrieved by excesses of the June 4th era banded together and formed political parties to contest the elections.

If my memory is right, Limann of the then PNC won the presidential elections.

Fortunately, Limann was not a street smart chap. He was a "book-long" (all hats no cattle kind of politician). Whilst he slept on the job, some real greedy bastards like Krobo Edusie and Okuto Bekwe were busy amassing wealth left, right, and centre.

There comes in Rawlings' 2nd appearance on the political scene through another coup.

This 2nd coming of Rawlings is a problematic one because some argue that since it was a democratically elected government that was in place, Rawlings has no right to intervene but should have allowed the electorate to change governments if they think they don't like what Limann's government was doing.

In fact, Rawlings himself at this pointed has tasted power and the trappings of power. Besides, he has a wife who is by nature, greedy and prone to amass wealth to show off and be deemed to be important in her circles.

So initially (June 4th), Rawlings intents were good. Indiscipline has engulf Ghana to its eyeballs. Anyone who denies this is a GREAT LIAR! Rawlings 1st coming saved Ghana from so many unwanted things but I must admit that most of those things have found their ways back into the center-stage of Ghanaian society.

Has anyone ever questioned him or herself why our muslim brothers and sister are part and parcel of our body politics today? If you haven't really given this phenomenon any serious thought, then please give credit to the "Zongo Boy", Jerry John Rawlings. He was the one who truly brought muslim to be part of today's politics and civil society debate. This single act has been a blessing to Ghana and has given Ghana much relative peace in a subregion engulf in civil war and religious strife.

Rawlings as a good man when he started out but how can one be married to Nana Konadu Agyeman and not be corrupted to amass wealth and be greedy? You remember how Konadu burnt down the government bungalow they were living in at Ridge, all because she wanted the NDC government to build a new house for them? White-collar criminals!

Those who believe that the current state of insolence in our Society stems from the advent of Rawlings' AFRC are totally wrong, and disingenuous. The AFRC encouraged the Youths to defy their crooked, imposing Chiefs and seniors or higher-ranked in the Society, who had condoned and practiced Corruption in all areas of our living with impunity. The formation of PDCs was so the defying youths would have an organized backbone to repel any intimidation from those corrupt and unfeeling leaders. Surely, in every such reactionary exercise, boundaries would be crossed. But that does not mean it was J. J. and the AFRC that introduced indiscipline into the Nation.

And if we were even to synchronize that behavior of waning respect for elderly with the onset of the AFRC Coup, it would only be fair to concede that it is our longstanding cultural expectation that elders and the senior-ranked could always impose even the most stupid policies on the younger and lower-ranked that called for the Coup. We have all too soon forgotten the "Fa woto begye Golf" slogan that summed up how perverted many of our Officials in Authority were that they would lure much younger teen girls to be their concubines in exchange of luxury, especially Cars. The Car of choice for such promiscuous trade was the VW Golf. That slogan, simply means booty for Golf exchange. So, let Akosah tell us where the discipline among the elderly and leaders was then.

Our Chiefs, Military Leaders, and high-ranked Officials had gotten rotten with corruption and showed no sign to change while most people were suffering. Hence, the rise of J. J. and the Junior Military Officers to use force to straighten up the Society.

Whether or not the AFRC made any significant dent in the Culture of Corruption-with-impunity is a whole different issue. But it was not the AFRC that brought indiscipline to Ghana. Our leaders in Authority, Traditional, Secular and Military, had all lost their self-discipline and were bathing in grotesque moral decadence already.

So, we should not pin the rot on Rawlings alone. My position is not meant to support Rawlings, or the NDC at all. It is about being honest and telling it as it were that led us to the coming of J. J. Many of us have short memories and have soon forgotten the horrible state of the Nation leading to the time J. J. came on the scene. This is also our achilles heel. We tend to take so much for granted that even the excess brutalities we suffered under that transition with J. J. was soon dismissed for how we came to endure them, and simply took them to be a transient happenstance of some rampaging Military adventurism by some evil thug.

As regards his second Coup, as needless as I believe it was, Rawlings was harrassed incessantly by the Liman Administration that had been taken over by the Old CPP elders like Krobo Edusei to lead the country back into the same Corruption that brought the AFRC to the scene.

It is therefore dishonest to claim that there was nothing wrong that could have triggered the Coup. Massive corruption had reared its head again in the Liman Administration, and together with the harassment the PNP subjected Rawlings to, provided him with an excuse to strike.

In fact, I strongly believe it was not the resurgence of Corruption by the CPP old hands, who were taking advantage of their new opportunity to recoup whatever financial loss they had suffered after the first Coup that toppled their Government and banned their Party from active Politics that was the overriding reason afforded J. J.

What I strongly believe triggered J. J. to come back to overthrow Liman's Regime, was rather more personal to the Coup leader, in the sense that the PNP Administration unrelentingly attempted to cage Rawlings, subjecting him to 24/7 surveillance like a suspected criminal, after his AFRC had opened the gate for the CPP elements forming the PNP to feel free to resume Politics.

Liman was wrongly advised to police J. J. because the latter had refused to accept the dubious buy-out money and benefits offered to all AFRC members to keep them away from interfering or intervening again in Politics, after they had left the scene.

In fact, it was the same buy-out appeasement that triggered the enmity between Rawlings and Boakye Gyan, the two former pals and Coup colleagues. Rawlings' comments that taking the compensation amounted to selling their conscience and integrity offended Boakye Gyan and the others who took the money and benefits to study and live overseas.

Meanwhile, as was later revealed, Boakye Gyan was very much a CPP sympathizer, and decided then to oppose J. J.'s overthrow of Liman. There was a considerable period of bitter exchanges between the two old friends that deepened their enmity, and culminated in the attempted Coup by Boakye Gyan's younger brother, and my Varsity Hall mate and friend, Kyeremeh Gyan. That explains why J. J. did not spare the life of the young Kyeremeh Gyan when the latter's attempted Coup failed and he was captured.

So, let us be fair and stay with the facts, and not feed our younger generation who did not witness what we lived under in those days with lies.

The PDCs that the AFRC introduced was a direct reactionary response to the incurable rot among our local and National Authorities. Our Chiefs were flagrantly 'chopping' Community Funds for various developmental projects left and right, while the towns and Cities were falling apart in abject dilapidation.

Our Roads were all terribly neglected to become death-traps. And Contracts were awarded to cronies of the ruling elites and Generals that were never fulfilled, with the funds assigned going to their private pockets.

I remember when the Offinso-hene, Nana Wiafe Akenten II, invited me and other Officials in my profession to his Palace at Offinso to help him design a plan to finance the rebuilding or repair of the Roads in his jurisdiction. One such Road was the Kumasi-Offinso Road, a section of the Kumasi-Techiman-Kintampo Highway whose funds had been squandered by a Contractor alleged to be a front for the then Asantehene, Otumfuor Opoku Ware.

There was then an acrimonious relationship between the Offinsohene and his superior Traditional Authority, the Asantehene, that was said to have arisen because of the neglect of the Offinso-Kumasi Road. Whether or not the Otumfour Opoku Ware really had any hand in that Contract, was never publicly established but the fact remained that someone in his family was directly in charge of the Road that had killed many subjects of Offinso in a relatively short time, and had angered the Offinsohene immensely.

The perception of the Otumfour's connection to the neglected Offinso Road was very unfortunate and harmful to the reputation of the Golden Stool. But such was the general perception that prevailed then.

One other very damning event that some used to indict the Otumfour Opoku Ware in connection with that Road's neglect was the suspension and reported attempt to fire a versatile, prominent National Radio Journalist and Media icon, Akwasi Donkor who used present a most liked program called 'Entire Pa'.

Akwasi Donkor was very well versed in the Akan Culture, a most prolific Twi Language Speaker, who many considered as a kind of Twi Linguistic Celebrity, whom many Ghanaians learnt from and appreciated. It just happened that on one of his Radio shows, Akwasi Donkor, mocked the lack of integrity in the management of the Offinso Road Construction, by saying that if it were for the Offinso Road, he would not have ever imagined that we could patch the black Funeral Cloth (called Kuntunkuni in Twi) with pieces of the red Funeral Cloth (popularly called Kobene in Twi).

By that cunning analogy, he was referring to the fact that the Contractor building the Offinso-Kumasi Road was almost always filling pot holes that would immediately develop in the ostensibly graveled black bitumen-tarred Road with red Clay. That portrayed the ridiculously shoddy work the Contractor was doing on that Road. The job done on the Road was so bad that barely a week after paving the Road with gravel and tar, pot-holes would develop all along it. That amply suggested not enough gravel or bitumen was applied, possibly, because much of the Funds for the Road's Construction had been squandered, and the little left was being stretched to cover some requisite distance that the schedule for the project stipulated. That short, 16-mile stretch of the Road took over two years to linger in shoddy incompletion. It was only after a change of Government that the Road was finally completed.

Nevertheless, soon after Akwasi Donkor cracked that joke about the Offinso Road, he was reportedly suspended from GBC, and not allowed to present the Show for a long time. It was only by a concerted Public outcry that the Authorities finally brought him back on the Air.

Eventually, the reason for his absence became a public knowledge that he had offended some imminent Leader in the Society with his joke on the Offinso Road, and his near firing was the price he had to pay.

So, before we begin to fault Rawlings for all our incorrigible moral decadence, we ought to concede the total collapse of any responsibility of our leaders to the Citizens.

Surely, the Rawlings' era introduced egregious brutalities and violence into our Society that we had never experienced before against ordinary Citizens. But the violence was perpetrated by the Soldiers on targeted individuals they thought had caused the Nation harm, mostly via Corruption. The mostly boisterous youthful Soldiers believed that it was only with such harsh treatment of perceived culprits that folks would be deterred from repeated Corruption that was killing the Nation's Soul and had deepened hardship among us, all under the supervision of our elders and leaders.

The excesses of the Soldiers were wrong. But we all had to blame for behaving in a way that gave them excuse to intervene as they did. Our folks had long set on the path of indiscipline, led by our leaders and elders, before the AFRC came along. Tell the truth, or God would hold you accountable!

At no time during SMC or it's predecessor formation was wanton brutality meted towards civilians, property confiscated without due process or ethnic lynching rampant.

However, we must own up to the fact that the vengeful machismo the AFRC emerged upon the scene with was in tandem with what preceded in the Military circles till then. While I abhor all Coups, no one could claim the cause for the AFRC's Coup was any less appropriate than those that ushered in the NRC and SMCI and SMC II.

The Ghanaian Society had already lost much of its discipline when Market Women threw Urine upon poor customers who simply asked for reduction in price of a commodity on sale. We had already lost discipline and respect for our fellow Citizens when we would hoard vital basic grocery that people needed to live on but were in short supply. We had lost our discipline and respect for one another when only those in Authority would receive consignment of goods to share among the Citizenry and chose to keep them and share to their favorites only. We had lost discipline and respect for each other when we would steal funds for projects and send poor workers home in poverty that there was no work for them to earn a living. We lost discipline and respect for our fellow Citizens when we would deny others their due access to Schools and Medications by asking them to pay bribes first. So, even though we did not see much of in-your-face insolence and indiscipline by subordinates in protests, most folks were only enduring unbearable subjugation by their superiors in all sphere of our lives. They only feared punitive vengeance from the superiors and more powerful in the Society. Those in Authority were always getting away with crap by claiming to implore their superiors to endorse their continued suppression of anyone who dared to stand up them.

That actually is why Kalabule became entrenched. Subordinates had no peaceful avenue to vent or expose the mischiefs of their superiors, which kept getting bigger and bigger. What you term as unleashing indiscipline and insolence, is to me, largely asserting the rights of the subjugated.

Democratization of Violence that Rawlings referred to was not an invitation for all to take to arms for mutual annihilation. Rather, I understood him to mean that those who might choose to use unjustified intimidation and wanton violence to cow others ought to be aware that the victims could as well resort to such violence in retaliation. It was not an encouragement for all to start killing each other.

But more importantly, Societies all over the World usurp the structural adherence to control and order that any existing imposing authority wields upon them, when an opportunity arises to over-run that subjugating authority. That is a natural expectation. It is the subsequent handling of the situation by the rulers of the Societies that then determines how long and deep such reluctance to comply with the old master-servant relationship demands prevail.

The psychological liberation of the masses from that mentality of unquestioned authority is what many should be thankful for from the AFRC era. Our elders had their chance to structure a more accommodating Society. Instead, they persisted in the same imperialistic stratification of the society to give the masses the short end of the stick.

We missed the lessons to teach us all that respect is earned not ordained unto us. And that even if you disrespect your own child incessantly, you only build in him or her a behavioral inertia to reject your imposition at some point.

It is that simple. Besides, we have had the highest surge in Religious Institutions like Churches ever since AFRC. How come people have not adopted the morality of mutual respect the Churches teach all that while?

The Society's general indiscipline has more to do with the failure of our Churches and Law Enforcement Agencies and the Judiciary than anything else Rawlings came to unleash upon us in the 90-day duration of the AFRC. Democracy is not possible under any system where unconditional subordination to elderly and those in authority exists.

Rawlings still points at "others" and "other things" as responsible for the moral stink in Ghana, but never takes pause to reflect on his own contributions to the idea of "killing people" in an attempt to correct behaviour (corruption), which is kept alive by a state of mind (not individuals). The resettlement money was not a precursor to their disagreement. To avoid catastrophe, the key coup makers decided in the absence of JJ to hand over through an election because was taking advice from his tribesmen who did not take part in the coup that rescued or saved his life. Why do you think the actual coup makers rushed to hand over? Of course, it was not for pecuniary benefits but rather to save their lives and country. Which soldier will make a coup and hand over within 3 months? How long did it take Rawlings on the throne? Exiting the country was their only option to avoid bloodshed. Limann's settlement offered them was a wise decision taken by his government. JJ was not happy about the handing over, so, he refused to take the settlement money making it look like the rest taking a bribe to leave the country. This is how callous Rawlings is. His Ewe hegemony and supremacy along the west coast was a total disaster as it was crashed in its infancy. I hate reading all the in disciplined remarks and insults on the Ghanaweb from both sides of the divide underpinned by his NDC and NPP.

What then was the purpose of killing all those that God had created? Judges were picked up and killed by rogues led by Amartey Quaye, all in the name of the so-called stupid revolution. He closed universities and sent his children to foreign schools to become doctors. Additionally, Rawlings opened light tribal fissures that existed. Ghanaians, regardless of their tribal differences, lived well with through friendship, marriage, enterprise and politics. Rawlings has entrenched tribal fault lines. He singled out a particular group of people and organized the rest of the country against them. However, because the foundation of the country was formed on brotherly and sisterly love across different tribes that exist in Ghana, we have averted situations that happened in Liberia, Rwanda and other parts of the world where ethnic and tribal conflicts translated to wars. Yet, Rawlings has the courage to stand to defend the June 4th revolution. Ghanaians should thank God for Rawlings being alive today. We should pray for him to live longer until he asks for forgiveness. Ghanaians should forgive J. J. Rawlings!

Ghanaians should ask Kwaku Baako Jnr why he supported the June 4th Revolution (the event that introduce Rawlings onto the political scene in Ghana).

Once upon the time, there was a military leader of Ghana by name Ignatius Kutu Acheampong from Atwima (Kufour's hometown). This Acheampong man was so corrupt, his own deputy Akufo overthrew him in a palace court.

Under Kutu Acheampong and Akufo, Ghana had things like kalabule, zinabu, fa wu tu ber ji golf, you have to queue to buy sugar, bread, milk, and kenkey. Things were this bad. May be the good professor is no so old he is suffering from amnesia.

Factories were all run down all over the country. Things were that bad! The elite in society were running amok. There was virtually no justice for the poor and the unconnected.

Come in Rawlings and his group. Trust me, there was far more discipline after June 4th than any other time in Ghana's history. Ghana was a better place! Ask Kwaku Baaku to tell you the whole story. I say things were better.

Then came in the cry for DEMOCRACY (Freedom to do whatever you want). So some loudmouths, intelligentsia, and others aggrieved by excesses of the June 4th era banded together and formed political parties to contest the elections.

If my memory is right, Limann of the then PNC won the presidential elections.

Fortunately, Limann was not a street smart chap. He was a "book-long" (all hats no cattle kind of politician). Whilst he slept on the job, some real greedy bastards like Krobo Edusie and Okuto Bekwe were busy amassing wealth left, right, and centre.

There comes in Rawlings' 2nd appearance on the political scene through another coup.

This 2nd coming of Rawlings is a problematic one because some argue that since it was a democratically elected government that was in place, Rawlings has no right to intervene but should have allowed the electorate to change governments if they think they don't like what Limann's government was doing.

In fact, Rawlings himself at this pointed has tasted power and the trappings of power. Besides, he has a wife who is by nature, greedy and prone to amass wealth to show off and be deemed to be important in her circles.

So initially (June 4th), Rawlings intents were good. Indiscipline has engulf Ghana to its eyeballs. Anyone who denies this is a GREAT LIAR! Rawlings 1st coming saved Ghana from so many unwanted things but I must admit that most of those things have found their ways back into the center-stage of Ghanaian society.

Has anyone ever questioned him or herself why our muslim brothers and sister are part and parcel of our body politics today? If you haven't really given this phenomenon any serious thought, then please give credit to the "Zongo Boy", Jerry John Rawlings. He was the one who truly brought muslim to be part of today's politics and civil society debate. This single act has been a blessing to Ghana and has given Ghana much relative peace in a subregion engulf in civil war and religious strife.

Rawlings as a good man when he started out but how can one be married to Nana Konadu Agyeman and not be corrupted to amass wealth and be greedy? You remember how Konadu burnt down the government bungalow they were living in at Ridge, all because she wanted the NDC government to build a new house for them? White-collar criminals!

When these poor, unpopular and uneducated came to power they started to enjoy luxurious lifetime and started to achieve the same conditions as those that they accuse.Then the slogan this is our time came in followed by do u know whom I are talking to? No respect for anyone above them.No respect for workers and traditions.It came to a time u get rich when u join him but u have to be uneducated. Unpopular or poor.All these came to the front line to rulenot to mention Asiedu Nk, PVO, LampteI and others.

We were well on our way towards social disintegration and people were prepared to change in 1979 when he came to power. Rawlings missed a huge opportunity by coming back in 1981 which sent us to the path we are on now. He had the vision but did not knonw how to govern. Vision was not good enough to stop corruption and indiscipline at work places. He was also afraid of the junior officers so he wanted to please them to stay in power

Instead of preaching the power that we have as a people to turn things around by taking personal responsibility, we have a whole professor, who you would think would know better, also playing the blame game.

Ghana won't get better if the people don't get better. Let's be slow to speak and act but spend more time watching our thoughts and emotions. Only acting when we're completely convinced that the act is appropriate.

The pain in the mind of Akosa is that despite his great desire to be a president of Ghana it had not happened hence the display of this unnecessary frustration of accusing the ex president of bringing indiscipline to Ghana.

This accusation in itself disqualifies Akosa as a professor in the area of his studies, since he has failed to show good experience especially being a person of his age that he might be more aware of the situation prior to the 1979 coup which caused the execution of those military personalities.

Before the coup led by ex president Rawlings and the execution that followed, Ghana was in trouble in a way that all Ghanaians were at that time wishing for a change, and that change came with Rawlings and almost 90 percent of Ghanaians welcome it wholeheartedly.

Akosa was aware of the support the citizens gave Rawlings in 1979 so his comments of this nature at this time is of stupidity and pure frustration. My opinion is that Rawlings never encouraged people to exercise indiscipline in any way in his military rule era.

If in the early stages some people went through hard times and still carry it till today and for that reason describing Rawlings as a person who brought in indiscipline to Ghana, it could be discribed as a lie or political fallacy.

Good citizens of Ghana who are rational without any negative nature of political and tribal bigotry could on the other hand tell that the military era of Rawlings is better than this highly welcome democracy which is not well handled due to many complications involved with its implimention like the way is exercised in the original countries of the WEST that imposed it on us.

Finally Rawlings never brought indiscipline to Ghana, since Akosa is being led always with personal hatred for Rawlings.
