I recently picked up my nephew from a certain school near Dokojom(Kumasi)and was alarmed to see pupils running and playing outside the school compund near a major highway used by timber transporters.I had a hard time getting the kids to leave and return to the school with me.I tracked the headmistress to inform her about the kids and found her talking with another teacher in a classroom on the third floor.This floor had no guard rails at many places and very low and short rails at other places.Most of the windows were either broken or missing making this floor extremely dangerous and unsuitable to house kids at that hyperactive age.The headmistress told me in no uncertain terms that everything was under control and the school had not had a single fatality since it's establishment over 40Years ago.Now,this is a very good school which has produced many great scholars and professionals but does that mean we must gamble with our children's safety just to access the top class education they provide?I think parents and PTAs must get involved and insist that all schools be made safe with simple child/injury proof measures to spare us from these senseless and very preventable accidents in the future.Also parents MUST sue the G.E.S,HEADPERSONS AND SCHOOL OWNERS for all preventable injuries and deaths.

Gyedabi, it's only fear n nothing else that makes people feel they see spirit, the bases of superstition is just fear, when you walk in the dark n u r afraid ur mind create some images that you think it is real but in reality it is only an imaginary pictures of your mind, So those who are afraid in such circumstances can be helped if a superstitious person comes to perform Something to show he has dispel the spirit for them to overcome the fear, else there is nothing to be afraid of in reality.

It was not long ago when a student at St. Augustine in Cape Coast also jumped from the third floor to do his death because he was trying to dodge the Master on duty who was on inspection. However may the soul of this unfortunate boy rest in peace.
