There is absolutely no way the chief Justice would be still at post considering she supervised all the rot going on in any serious country. The whole top echelon should be removed to make up for new people to investigate and clean up the system. It is shame for the CJ to react only after Anas' tapes, it tells you how incompetent she is for the job. I doubt if any of the corrupt judges will go to jail. In the worst case scenario they will be fired with their pensions intact. The corrupt customs officials were transferred and that was the end of the story. People steal and take bribes with impunity because there are no serious consequences.

Years later, we are still waiting for the accounts. That man happens to be an astute accountant.
It seems simple accountability is wahala for some of the people surrounding this guy. Of course, he knows everything going on. He is just too clever. He just turns a blind eye and pretends all is well.
He says he is not corrupt. Now he says no country can uproot corruption. What are we supposed to believe. What can we expect? We heard about zero tolerance to corruption. 2. Woman called Amina said she saw a bus being robbed and the robbers forced a man to have sex with his own daughter. When she was invited to by the law enforcement officers to assist in investigation a certain political party followers harassed the Police till the case had to be dropped.
3. Some idle hands wanted to make noise because of an election that is more than 12 away. The law enforcement officers asked to follow a certain route.Along the way they disobeyed the Police and insisted to follow their own route. They even pelted the police and when the latter responded, a particular party is up in arms against the police.

Creating a Special Prosecutor as we had in the likes of Gyake Dako and many others opened up the gates for those prosecutors to enrich themselves. The best way is to empower and strengthen the AGs department, pay the well, period. Our Bar is the most corrupt and cheap as all they do is to entice Judges in the performance of their duties, cheapskins, all of them.

By the way there are institutionalized corruption and personal corrupt practices and of the two what cannot and must not be accepted is institutional corruption. Those engaged in institutional corrupt practices deny citizens of their right to government support services which may include health, safety and security. All we ask of government administrations and political parties like NPP and NDC is to eliminate institutional corruption; we will be okay with personal corruption beyond institutional controls.

Many of the Judgment Debt crises our Economy has been bleeding Millions of Dollars from also originated or took roots under Akufo-Addo's watch.
Akufo-Addo provides no innovative measures to minimize corruption in Ghana. Period! The same ineffective laws would be in existence, if he came to power, and he hold no promise to have them significantly changed to address our special vulnerability to Corruption. The factors that facilitate corruption among us have been always dodged by our Political leaders, including Akufo-Addo.
The Powers of the Presidency must first be clipped down by the Parliament. The selection of Ministers from among sitting Parliamentarians must also be reviewed to demand that any MP given a Cabinet portfolio cannot retain his or her Parliamentary seat. Then, the immunity enjoyed by the President from prosecution must be curtailed with exceptions in cases of corruption. No human being in any position whatsoever must be shielded by law from prosecution in corruption cases.
Lastly, we must consider massive corruption running into Millions of Dollars as crimes against Humanity. This is because such losses as derived from such corruption reaches into the needless deaths of many innocent folks to whose benefits the lost funds could have applied to save their lives.
Cases in point include the cause of unpaid salaries of workers for long periods of time. Such workers include emergency life-altering workers like Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Pharmacists, etc. When these folks go on strike for lack of funds to pay their earned wages and salaries, people's lives get pushed into precarious precipice, that eventually lead to fatalities. Such deaths are avoidable and undeserving, and those whose actions lead to the deaths must be punished at the highest levels of Jurisprudence.
Any Official who steals our funds and stashes them away in foreign safe havens like Switzerland and Bahamas and Bahrain, etc. ought to be taken to the Hague to answer without any local sympathies from equally corrupt Judges.
