The father mudered his way into Ghana politics, kiling seasoned politicians and incorruptible judges worth the name. He formed a party when the World Bank and the IMF refused to loan money to a military government (thanks to Bush I), after he ran down the country. Then he used a state aircraft to fly solo, after a member of Limann's government was killed for using a state car for the son's wedding. Then the mother forms a second party in the same bed as the husband. Now, Ghanaians must reward this neophyte with a seat in parliament? Only in Ghana.

Rawlings is for NDC, his wife is for NDP and their senior daughter is following her father's political party. I am sure her siblings will also have political parties of their choices. Can this development happen in the houses of die hard elephants especially john kufour and akuffo add? I don't think so! That will be a taboo. Any such attempts will creat chaos in such families. Even see how Ghanaians from other parties joining them are being treated. They treat such new entrants as moles and not to be trusted. they forget that politics is a matter of numbers.Rawlings as a president wholeheartedly handed over political power to another civilian government without shedding blood. If this trend can continue in Ghana and other african countries, Africans will not be experiencing the madness of dictators any more. I really love what jj Rawlings is doing in his house to give more colours to democracy in Africa. God bless him!

He wasn't angry with the UP in exile but was angry with the tribe in the
army and police who overthrew him.

through when he and co. went to visit
him in Guinea. Osagyefuo, was a member of the UGCC and the general secretary for that matter before he left and formed his CPP. Why did Dr Obed Asamoah went back to the ndc after leaving and forming his own party, but didn't join any other party? So why would you think Osagyefuo would have joined a corrupt , unpatriotic, tribalistic and divisive party like the ndc? I wonder how some families would think they're superior than all families in Ghana, wanting to impose themselves on Ghanaians.

Is Miss Zenator trying to copy others like Nana Akufo-Addo and Samia Nkrumah because their fathers were once Ghana's former presidents? So now it's becoming clear that the Rawlings' family are covetous people; they envy the achievements of others.

Was this the reason why Rawlings stood on roof-tops accusing some prominent Ghanaians like the Kuffour family, Akufo-Addo Family etc, for schooling their wards oversea? Ghana is a democratic country; everyone can aspire to become whoever they dream of becoming. But with characters like these, it's difficult to know their motives.

If Rawlings is noted for torture and execution of innocent citizens for fun, then I don't think any of his descendants deserve to hold any important public position, esp. knowing that the NDC is always in the news for all the wrong reasons. A leopard cannot shed its spots; so the old saying goes!

Your ndc has 28% of ghana's voters and that's why you go to register foreigners to vote for you and that's why you never get over 56% votes to win an election , not even during Rawlings time. If really Ghanaians love you, they will give you 60-70% in elections not this 50+1 votes. He divided the party and sent Prof Mills early into his grave after putting the government off gear with his unsavory, unguarded remarks. Now they are pushing their daughter in who, given the acute shortages of Doctors should rather be in the theatre attending to the health needs of the poor and vulnerable she is claiming to want to help. Coming events cast their shadows and any discerning mind should know that this lady is coming to destroy and not to build . She may not be a rating organisation but as a LOYAL member of the party , Ezanetor must know that refusing to rate John''s performance amounts to saying "I don't want to say anything because I honestly don't think he has delivered ". What, for example, should Dr Zenator have said to please the bulk of commentators to the question about how she rates President Mahama? Cut out the bigotry and personal vendetta against the Rawlingses and tell the reading public why you agree or disagree with her response. That's the more mature and objective way to comment on newspaper articles. That you personally do not see anything good about Pres Mahama's government does not mean she must be untruthful to herself in responding to the question posed to her!!!
