The journalists should stop making Stan a scape goat,he reacted to the report saying no such report came to him nor the Minister of Communications,he wants the reporters to know that non of the people he was working with or work with were involved in accident as reported,there is nothing wrong with that,stop following the crowd that hates to see Stan working in the presidency.

This guy is just a disgrace to the Presidency. It tells you the sort of person we have as a president. His staffers are even powerful than him.

That is why he is refusing to associate his team and the Minister of Communications with those journalists. Good lesson for those journalists who were involved in the accident. Next time think twice when party officials invite you for such missions.

I admire Stan Dogbe because, like blind Bartimeus in the Bible, he has refused to shut up even when his colleague journalists would not like to hear his voice. It is surprising that the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) of all institutions, would like to deny the freedom of expression to one of their kind. The fact is, freedom of expression like all other human rights, is inalienable and universal hence it is wrong to take it away from someone.
To report that the vehicle carrying the presidential press corps had an accident when this did not happen, is clearly a lie. When the man in charge comes out to deny it, it is proper.
If the vehicle carrying some other journalists had an accident, it is mischievous to report it as another accident involving the presidential press corps. Mischievous reporting is really the thing the GJA should be angry with and not rightly denying it. The other day, some journalist wrote the mischievous headline: "Anas exposes President Mahama" when the story that was being reported was that, Anas revealed he had received collaboration from the President to do his undercover work. The mischief lies in the fact that, the headline wrongly gave the impression that the President had done something wrong and Anas exposed it. Another mischievous report occurred when a journalist reported the President in a sense to create the wrong impression that he was complaining about his work as a punishment when all that the President indicated was how busy his office is.
The GJA should rather get angry with mischievous reporting so that the journalists involved in it should turn on new leaf to give faithful and responsible reports.
