Just remind yourself of how he said there is a number known as 27 zero to wit either two hundred and seventy or 2700 whatever? Just cast your mind back when five out of the nine supreme court judges have voted in favor of NPP it turned round to be Maaaaama as the winner. Now when Afari gyan himself was made to interprete what is no verification, no vote, he went around and said it has no meaning to how we vote because a paramount chief must not be verified because he is a chief, as if a paramount chief has two heads, ten legs and three stomachs. Everything proved that Afari Gyan is a stupid idiot and a vandal; but it was all because the thief jon maaaaama bribed Afari gyan to act foolishly.
So now if the founder of NDC says we have to have a new voter's register, why not? And if jon maaaaama has nothing to hide, why is he afraid of having a new voter's register?

What must a potential voter present to get a voter ID? is it a driving license? Is it a passport? Is it the wonderful national-ID? Is it a birth certificate? Each of the listed items have their own unique problems to overcome. Not every living Ghanaian, especially those above the age of 40 years may have legitimate and authentic birth certificates; birth registry were not order of the day then and or may be limited to hospital births and not births at home. Ghana's passport can be had without being a Ghanaian citizen; it’s on sale at the passport office and through passport brokers and dealers. Some of the people holding Ghanaian driving licenses obtained them without stepping afoot at driving test offices and most certainly did not prove their nationality or address of residence. The much touted national ID scheme was a joke from day one and is no better than a Ghanaian passport; there was no nationality requirement that will stand scrutiny.

So if we are to start with identification card, other forms and or birth certificates that are themselves flawed because they each fail to establish nationality, citizenship and above all legitimate address of residence how then do we get to an undisputed voter registry? People can yell and scream all they want in Ghana but we will never have an honest voter registry until we find a way to establish country of birth/nationality. We are about to hand the NDC and ECG the opportunity to get their hands on government money to steal and or mismanage. Hopefully all the people asking for new voter role will not come back in 2016 and claim the ECG mismanaged government money on the new registration exercise; we asked for a registry at all cost under the delusions that gave us a Ghana that was supposed to be flowing with milk and honey after the 1966 coup.

I can say without fear,prejudice and any malicious intents that,BRIBERY and CORRUPTION was unknown and

It was the Police, Commercial Veh Drivers and somehow,"Akpeteshie" Smugglers and Retailers in the Country whom introduced and indulged in the act . Those advocating for a new register have not outlined how compiling a new register will eliminate multiple registration? I presume a new register will be compiled using the processes used in the past - how does that eliminate the occurrence of multiple registration? It will be a wasteful exercise and this must be avoided at all cost.

Ghana has no credible database to which a new register can be checked against, so it is a useless exercise to compile a new register using existing methods. The best solution to this question about the existing register is to take time, money and effort to clean it rigourously of all (I mean ALL) multiple entries. The police and the political parties should be involved in this exercise and where any entry is seen as a criminal act, those concerned should be prosecuted and if found guilty punished to deter Ghanaians from engaging in such acts in future.

Care must be taken not to open the voters register for further manipulation. If the above exercise is undertaking with transparency, the public will trust the outcome and no party will have cause to complain.

If you read the story you will see that he is not hundred percent in favor of a new register "if that will make it ......",it doesn't mean he is calling for a new register,this group is now frustrated going round to solicit support for their mischief,if they allow that many of us who are not in the country but are registered will be removed from the register and cannot claim to be registered voters,if they think wrong names are in the register they should prove it and those names removed,right now there is no minor in that register but if we open new register now it will make it easy for NPP to add more names to the register,that is their objective,to add more minors to the register having more voters in their strongholds than the population of those places,Akuffo Addo is desperate to be president at all cost,we don't need president at all cost.
People who are against the new register should also take their argument to these opinion leaders,there is no guarantee a new register will make election credible,NPP will only accept the results when they are declared the winners no matter what register is used.

But should they lose, they would most certainly blame the register since they came up with the names and photos sometime ago saying they were Togolese.
So, how do you make the elections credible in the face of everyone? Of course, we shouldn't always bend our knees to the claims NPP makes every time but if having a new register brings more peace, enforces unity and does not increase public expenditure, why not go for it? This is his opinion, no one is obliged to do what he's calling for, but he is entitled to that.

If JJ doesn't talk, he is questioned for not talking and insulted for being in the pockets of Mahama. When he talks, he gets every insult for it. Now for saying this, some are saying he is in the pockets of Nana Addo. What should he do?

In the past, we have only heard their voices, after the horses have bolted from the stable. This has not helped mother Ghana. If Nana Addo had acted otherwise after the spurious supreme Court verdict, the cost that the nation would have had to bear, will be a lot higher and bitter, than the compilation of the cost of a New Voter's register. If the Ndc government can borrow to pay the cost of pampas for girls in rural areas, after fifty years of Independence,to enable them commit to attend school classes, it should be possible for President Mahama to borrow to write a new Voter's Register.
Osaman Bin Karim, your worry is not JJ or the NPP probable attack of a new register. It has to do with the loss of the dirty things your party Ndc, will lose in the exiting disputed register. In collaboration with The EC and an Israeli IT consulting company, in charge of managing all the sensitive information of Ghanaians, the Ndc stands to suffer substantially, as a result of a new compilation. There is now a functioning Israeli Embassy in Ghana. The Israeli Ambassador has spoken on a few national issues of late. When did the Israeli nation shed its Zionism? Is Kwesi Pratt still in Ghana?

If a register is opened thousand times, towns will let their children to register. NPP comes out to say their investigation show that Togolese are on Ghana Voter Register and thus becomes a Bible for the country to read, form groups to promote it and accept it? The NPP promised to follow-up with the rest of their investigation. Where is their concluding report? Even in an unlikely situation of Togolese on Ghana Voter Register, Ghana register was compiled in 2012 and that of Togo in 2014. So where do those 'voters' belong? Voter Register compilation is done after every 10 years. The present 2012 Register is 3 plus years. We should change it? Which of the previous Registers measure up to the 2012 Register? The answer is; none. What Ghanaians should know is that the NPP and its cohorts is about is; they want the state to use its resources to compile a new voter only to stall 'development' and turn round to tell the populace the government failed to country. NPP and its agents will NOT achieve its aim. They should come again. Most Ghanaians have kept quite and will not sit down for a few loud mouths to dictate the pace in this country. President Rawlings; you are making your daughter's objective very difficult to achieve.

The EC has wasted enough time already in compiling the new, credible, clean voters register to ensure free, fair and credible elections in this country. By now, the exercise or process of compiling a credible, new and clean register would have been completed in about 3 or 4 regions instead of this needless talk.
As stated there is no way that discredited, bloated and compromised register will be an acceptable voter roll for the 2016 elections.
It is just not going to happen. Who will accept the results based off of such a bloated and compromised voters register when every political party including John Mahama and his NDC party and gov't which is resisting the compilation of the new register, agrees and accepts the register is compromised?
It is a no-brainer and it is amazing the time that has been wasted engaging in such ugly noises and garrulous inconsequential talk.
Ghana will use a new, credible, clean and uncompromised voters register for the 2016 elections and that is non-negotiable.

What is all this noise about new Voters register to be compiled before 2016 general election all about.Where was npp party when the present register was being compiled ? Where was npp party when minors,Togolese nationals,double registrations are being done by the Electral commission. Before the 2012 election,why did npp part raised this issues. Now what is the guarantee that a new voters register compiled by EC,will be hundred percent devoid of all the flows npp party is complaining about. How much is the cost of compiling a new voters register. If the present voters register can be audited and cleaned, we shall divert that money to pay for the gas we bought from Nigeria or pay for other services. The way npp is outing pressure on the EC for compilation of a new voters register means the npp party have agenda to destabilise the country if they do not win the 2016 general election. We are all watching them and waiting patiently for that day to come in the history of Ghana. There and then they will know that Ghana does not belong to them alone.

Let us look at another example a Jewish voter in the U.S. arrived at a pooling station and was told that he resemble Mr. Nathan Nyaho, the Israeli Prime Minister so he can not be allowed to vote in U.S. presidential and congressional elections.
Since yesterday we saw our NPP brothers jumping into the sky like a circus cork that has a hot plate under it laying some claim that John Rawlings has said that there should be a new voter register. Reading what Rawlings said yesterday today shows clearly that someone has put words into his mouth. Rawlings said a credible voter register, but not a new one because the new one could be without James Tuchisky, a U.S. Jew because he resemble Nathan Nyahu.
Since 2012 the infantile group Let My Vote Count (LMVC)do not recognize the existence of some people with the right to universal adult suffrage because whiles they want their votes to be counted they do not want others to cast theirs at all and even be counted.
The question to ask is has Gabby Okyere Darko got a contract with a company that sells voter registration material, thus must make some money at all costs at the expense of the Ghanaian tax payer or let us get the money from those who will take away from us part of our human rights. The ownership of means of production and distribution is a right that capitalist do not play with so when they take away from Ghanaians ownership of the same, it means that they have deprived us of our rights. If we are to live in some capitalist countries we will not be allowed to vote because we are without property.
