  They try to put hurdles in the way even for students applying from outside the country citing the title if your qualifications.
  The irony of it is that when the Govt of Ghana hires foreign Law firms, most of the researchers, experts who handle these cases would be holders of the GDL qualification ( in addition to the LPC for Solicitors or the BPTC for Barristers)
  ** The GDL is the Post-graduate Course/Qualification for Non-Law students in the UK who want to do the Conversion course in Law.***
  So Why disqualify a GDL holder?
  
  Challenge the ethnic discrimination too.

  Although i stay behind your lawsuit,it is still just part of the solution to the problem inherent in the two doggy law institutions, namely,the Ghana Law School and their boss,the Legal Council.They frustrate Ghanaians who have studied outside in weird circumstances.First,it's startling to hear that they even disregard the UK GDL and the LPC is also accorded a very low respect.I wished they would try these courses and thereafter,could properly assess.The Law profession in UK today has taken a modern shape including the introduction of the CILEX law and others.I would encourage this Professor to begin the formation of an Association to put pressure on the government to accelerate effective changes in this profession.We are either lawyers abroad or studying law abroad and we need to come together to assert our rights.THANX PROFESSOR.

  I started a debate with Dr SAS on how the lawyers and the legal system in Ghana are among the worst banes and drag on advancemnt and civilisation in our society and was planning to write a full article to explain myself, within the context of my ongoing Intellectual Bankruptcy series only to be overtaken by Anas' video exposure of the rotten system presiding over the maladministration of justice in Ghana. The whole legal system must be completely revamped, and Azar's quest is just a portion of what must be done.

Let final exam determine fate of students. Is that how other countries produce lawyers or it's a Ghanaian problem. Univerities should suspend the law degree for some years to allow those who are yet to enroll at Law school.

  We nid lawyers in de banks,security institutions,education,and infact every where,hw can 251 student enter the law this yr when pregnant teenagers alone produce over 6000 babies within a year.infact we r sick as a nation.

  Learned but 'uneducated' Professor of law talking. Does "through school of law" mean other means of program location and delivery. Read NCTE and NAB laws on admission to tertiary educational institutions in Ghana.

  Thank you prof. Those who are running their mouths against you, have no clue what you doing for the silent and significant Ghanaians . The frustration we have gone thro for three years and counting just us to the BL Certificate. We have been praying for a saviour like u. Finally God has answered our prayers. I personally spent 30,000 pounds in tuition fees alone. Studying full time and working as a delivery driver full time. On several occasions I slept behind the wheel and the mercy of God kept me alive. Only to come home and be denied entry into the law school. There many prospective Ghana Law School students like who will not bother to utter a word on this issue not because they don't care but because they feel Ghanaians leaders do not give a hoot!
