According to the 2012 Elections Report,the Biometric System faced some technical challenges.Example,the verification machines were unable to capture the finger prints of some registered voters.Apparently,the EC has reformed the principle of "no verification no vote".On the other hand,the Biometric System was unable to detect multiple registration and voting.These are technical failures of the machines that has to be addressed.Even with a new voters register,the Biometric machines will continue to fail in these particular cases.What is the response of the EC concerning this?Most importantly,the Biometric System cannot identify an unqualified voter,under age or a foreigner.All these are technical and administrative problems that we have not yet addressed.If that is the case,how can a new voters register with the same Biometric Machines be perfect or credible if you want?Thank you.

Typical of them they would rather pretend nothing wrong. The NDC will lie until thy kingdom come! But my worry lies with the NPP. They will not care to come out and challenge what the NDC claims. They must be alert and condemn all NDC propaganda and lies so Ghanaians may see the difference. Everyone is busy doing their own thing. Thellevel of semi literate people in Ghana is alarming, as there are mis-informed citizens and the NDC is constantly exploiting these class of people. But I can confidently say that after calls from the countries leaders, civil society, political parties and the clergy have all weighed in on the issue, the NDC will bow when pressure comes from international leaders and powerful countries. They are deceiving their souls. We're not in this world alone! Our existence as global citizens is inter-connected and the NDC should know that.

Since the Npp made their allegation, the EC have not come out to say anything yet so what's all these nonsense. What does the Ndc knows about the voters register?. If they got anything to counter the Npp claims Ghanaians wants to see it. The last time the EC was asked to clean the register the number of registered voters went up one million. We all saw what went on at the supreme court. The NPP AS WELL AS MANY GHANAIANS HAVE A CASE AGAINST THE EC ABOUT THE VOTERS REGISTER AND NOT THE NDC AS A PARTY SO THEY(NDC) SHOULD SHUT UP AND ALLOW THE EC TO DO THE JOB. Then why on earth can Togolese be found in Ghana's register and not Ghanaians rather on Togo's own? This attitude of some members of this party does not make the party attractive enough. What will you also say to somebody who claims that if just accusations and splitting of party leadership is what makes someone a good flag bearer of the largest opposition then everybody can be a party flag bearer? we are all not the repository of wisdom or intelligence on all matters of national interest. Everybody must be respected because the value of our votes politically are the same, no matter your exposure or level of education or the amount of resources you control.
