In as much as I agree with the Italian officials in denying these Ghanaians political asylum, it does not mean they have no reason of being in Italy.

If I was in Italy, I would have applied for economic asylum. It is now almost impossible for a Ghanaian anywhere to get political asylum because of our democratic dispensation.

Corney, you sound like you don't want any Ghanaian to be in abroad apart from you. You are in USA and telling people to come home. Which home are you talking about, Ghana or USA?

Denying them asylum in Italy does not mean they will deport them,Italians hardly deport anybody,Italy is one of the few that they can arrest you,deport you on paper and let you go,they don't like wasting their money in deporting people otherwise they would have loaded all those illegals in their country and deport them especially mostly the Nigerian women engaged in prostitution under the apple and peach trees.

What I wrote does not mean I don't want any Ghanaian to be abroad,I'm not that person and I have a record for that,you will be surprise how many people are in this country through me,some I didn't even know,some friends call me Togbi because of that.

I have also met a Nigerian lady who was refused entry to spain when the some of the entry stamps in her Ghanaian passport misspelt Madrid as Maduro (which made me think there was sabotage because writing Madrid as Maduro looked impossible).
Anyway that passport was directly delivered to her in Accra.

She tried to go to Italy with the same passport and was arrested at Tunisia and sent back.

Even Ghana passports were directly dellivered to prostitutes in Italy some years ago, so what is Corney blabbing about?

We need to shut up when we don't know zilch about what we talk about, in this case, the all-too-known Corney.

It is all over the news I have the evidence on my phone and the restaurant is closed down. Maybe you are one of them so you can defend them. You are rather clueless you do not know what is going on in Ghana Abu. A week or so ago a Nigerian was arrested in Ghana who was going to kill a school child. You can defend them but a lot of ghanians know what is happening.

Most of us suffer from the curable grass is greener somewhere syndrome. There is not a single Ghanaian alive in the Diaspora who does not put in the time, work, and sweat and tears to make the relative comfort living they enjoy in the Diaspora; they never did put in the time and or labor when they lived and worked in Ghana.

There are those who will chuck the seeming laziness to the rather low wages and the unreliable payment schedule in Ghana. I will argue that productivity in Ghana suffers not because of government problems but because we choose to be lazy or hope to get over on government. It should not come as a surprise then to anyone of us to find there are linkages between non productivity and overall wages. People flee the shores of Ghana or Africa in general for various reasons but not for an unbearable hardship in Ghana or Africa but because we have been sold a bill of goods into thinking the streets are paved in gold, milk and or honey elsewhere.

There is no country immune from bribery and corruption neither is there a nation where the courts serve the interest of all its citizens equally. So while citizens in other nations stay to make their countries better for all to live we, Ghanaians, choose to run for cover then throw stones at those left behind even while others instigate instability here at home via dim-wits who need lobotomy than functional brains.
