When they talk of plain level field, they mean our way and perspective of doing and seeing things. But this Mate Meho knaves should first learn to respect the rule of law. Ghana is bordered on by three nations. How can NPP lackeys like LMVCA single out one border if they are not indeed not tainted with bias?!

Let me be clear here, Ghana is not NPP property thus it is time they stop putting their party ahead of Ghana first. They NPP do not own Ghana so it is time to let Ghanaians know the true colours of these quislings and stooges. They can rot in hell and do all die be die but without sensible Ghanaians. This their trait of character so it is time for real Ghanaians who have our dear nation at heart to stand up against these Notorious Primitive Party and avoid the Mate Meho NPP like a black plague.

When Kwame Nkrumah was building a unitary state of Ghana these nation wreckers were fighting for separatism Mate Meho. The Notoriety Populists Party is once again up to divide Ghana because they see defeat come 2016 but they will be met squarely. Early 2016, EC is going to open registration for those who could not register the last time registration was done which includes those who have now turned 18. Then EC will ask people to volunteer information on the dead for their names to be removed from the register. Also if you have credible information on a foreigner, a minor whose names should not be in the register, you give out that info and it is investigated and action taken.

After all, with this bloated voter register list NPP can still make headway by winning the next election hands down due to the president inability to do anything successfully. Simple put this president is ineptitude. Therefore, with expression of doubt or choice between alternatives, the Ghanaian electorates will send him packing.

Instead of making these useless threats to boycott the next election, the party should focus of winning the minds of the people. Comparing notes from the last election this was incumbent president barely won with bloated voters register (0.7% above threshold). Therefore, he can easily be beatable.

This statement of an intention to inflict hostile action on someone in retribution for something done or not done will not help the course of the party we all love. We foolishly made mistake by boycotting the other time and we should learn from that.

It is a serious matter to see a party that says they regreted boycotting the 1992 election just because one individual did not win election talking about another boycott,election boycott does not help any opposition party,it happened in many countries many times but the losers are always those boycott the election.
I know, though Akuffo Addo and his Akyem Mafia were behind the 1992 boycott, this time it may not work if he wants to use his selfish interest to prevent people from going to parliament,I don't think any MP in his right mind running for re-election knowing he will be retained will go for that foolishness,as for Anthony Karbo he knows very there is no way he can win election in his constituency to become MP,hence this boycott nonsense,he is very much aware he cannot win that seat so to blame it on the EC he has to use short cut to avoid another humiliation.

So when Deputy National Democratic Congress (NDC) Secretary, Koku Anyidoho,said the Npp is demanding a new voters register because they want to prevent Ewes and Northerners in Ashanti region, he was speaking for what Ndc believe is the motive for the demand of a new voters register?

Why is Koku and a lot of his NDC Ewe compatriots always talking about Asantes who have lived peacefully with all tribes in the region without any tribal conflict unlike his own region where they will not even allow a dead person to be buried there because he was not from that area?

Now back to the constitution, where I earlier alluded you to read. It is mandated that, to win a presidential election it is required to obtain at least 50%+. Mr. Mahama had 50.7% of the votes which is 0.7% above the threshold.
Please Mr. Adjei, tell me why do I need to go a buy an adding machine to subtract 50% from 50.7% which was the final tally of the votes for Mr. Mahama to get 0.7% which is above the threshold of 50% as required by the constitution.

The speed at which the call for a new register was being was very frightening. All of a sudden the voters register was seen as the number one problem in our country and everything else should give way. Former Presidents were rubbed in as if to say once JJ and Kuffour speaks in favour, then pronto, the EC has to comply with their demand. However when this railroading by LMVC started receiving critical analysis by legal experts and others, their ground on which they stood started giving way. Now cogent and constitutional isues have been raised and the group and their sponsors have resorted to threats, first by Nana Add in Amsterdam calling for international interference else civil war. Now Anthony Karbo with a boycott threat. Why does the NPP not want the EC to listen to other views except theirs? Who appointed NPP as the supervisors of the EC to be coming out with results of their own vetting of the register? There would be a time when the register would be displayed for all to see and come out with their objections. The NPP cannot be pushing the EC and the whole country into a futile exercise just because they feel that is the only way they cn come to power. The NPP called for a biometric register, it was done yet they still lost. Why I may ask, was the question of Togolese names on the register not part of their supreme court challenge? The NPP since their electoral defeat iv 2012 have dedicated their precious time in identifying issues that they believe caused their loss, and this is the latest and I am sure the issue of the register will not be the last.

I think this is an opportune time for government to take the bull by the horn and call on all citizens, civil society organisations, the clergy including the international community such as the UN, The ICC in the Hague, Great Britain, The US, European Union to put pressure on Akufo Addo and hold him and his party responsible for any act of violence that may be committed by his followers. Government must petitioned the above interested parties through their local representatives or Embassies and provide copies of the threats posed by Akufo Addo. In this case, government will have a strong evidence and the backing of the international community if Akufo Addo and his terror groups are to be confronted and contained. He is taking this once peaceful country on a slippery road and the earlier this old sinking idiot is tackled once and for all, the better. Probably, he wants to follow the inglorious path of Saddam Hussein,Gaddafi, Charles Taylor and Laurent Gbagbo.

Besides, NDC will not cross the border to register foreigners because we all know what they did in 2008.

They always claim they speak for the majority of Ghanaians, my question is which Ghanaian majority and by which measure because the only measure I know is what the electoral results show and that's why there is a particular party in power.
Isn't it curious that when they make their fantasy wishes, and anybody with a contrary view is either a dimwit, uncouth, uncultured, undemocratc, not a Ghanaian, not for the development of Ghana etc.
My question is this, assuming there is a new register and they lose 2016, what happens? Won't that register lack credibility because they lost?
I guess democracy entails having the right to put your views across without another person insulting your intelligence in doing so. NPP supporters need to accept that their right to say what they want to say also means others have the same right.
I can't understand for the life of me why they want everybody to tow their line and mantra.
The voters' register is an instant. They claim they want a new register for the following reasons
1. there are foreigners on the register - 76,000
2. there are minors - 2,000

Now let's subject those two to some statistical analysis. Remember nearly 11,000,000 people voted in the last general elections so I am assuming that there are 11,000,000 on the voters' register.
1. what percentage of the total people on the register are these alleged foreigners - 76,000/11,000,000*100 = 0.69% of the total constitute these alleged foreigners. Less than 1%.
2. what percentage is minors - 2,000/11,000,000*100 = 0.018% of the total are minors.

In total the NPP is asking that we spend in excess of nearly GHS400m on compiling a new register to cure it of less than 1% irregularity. And these are the people accusing others of not managing Ghana's finances wisely and trumpeting their credentials as the best economic managers.
What is the guarantee from NPP that no minors and/or foreigners won't be found in any new register since there is no art by which the nationality of a fluent Ghanaian language speaker cannot be used to determine a non - Ghanaian.

They have no single evidence and have lost touch with the good people of Ghana so their threats to boycott the 2016 elections. It is such irresponsible comments by some of the Leaders in the Party that undeservedly earns it a bad name. This is a trigger for violence. If the Voters Register is not redone, why not use the Courts to win an order for the Party's wish?

This attitude smacks of puerile tantrums that emerge when some folks do not get what they think they deserve.

First of all, the Register ought to be thoroughly evaluated by an independent, honest arbiter with legal clout imbued by the Supreme Court or the Chief Justice.

In the absence of any such efforts to establish the charge brought by the Bawumia-Akufo-Addo gang, it would be wrong for the NPP to take any unilateral action to disrupt or send to the tank the Elections in 2016.

It is all replaying itself again that these violent radicals in NPP would always prefer chaos to calm, rational and legal resolution of disagreements.

Surely, if the Register is found to be truly bloated with unqualified voters, they should be deleted from the Register. But a deliberate, painstaking effort must be applied to verify that before anyone is unduly denied his or her voting right because of sheer speculation.

The latest comment by Professor Gyampoh must be carefully and seriously considered in resolving the case. And surely, boycott is the most stupid route to take in getting a win for NPP.

A much more authentic way exist to ensure that win. And it is as simple as getting the Akufo-Addo's venomous fangs uprooted to leave Afoko, Agyapong, and others besieged by the Flagbearer's shenanigans, alone.

NPP's solid unity is the only key to ensuring a win for the Party in 2016. I seriously doubt any tweaking of the Voters' Register can make much difference, unless real unity is established among the NPP electorate.

If the NPP boycotts the Elections, it would not necessarily render them null and void. The results could still stand as authentic. And when the Courts do not give in to the NPP activists, they might resort to violent disruption of Peace in the Country as could be sensed from the attitude of folks like this Youth Leader.

Akufo-Addo would have then sealed his own Political demise.
