Granted that it is true that the constitution does not prescribe punishment for any chief who participate in politics, does that make the whole constitution useless? The part of the constitution that deals with chiefs participating in politics is just a tiny fraction, less than 0.0000000001% of the whole constitution.

People, put on your thinking caps for once. Dawula is supposed to be a Very Very Important People (VVIP) by any standard in Ghana. Long before he became whatever-Wura, Dawula was deemed to be one of those go-to guys in the administration of this country.

Now let me tie the loose ends of my points together. Guys, ever wonder why Ghana is still stagnant and seems not to get anything done? You don't have to look to far. It is right under your nose. It is people of people like Dawula being at the helm of our public services. You may disagree but it is true.

Sooner than later, he will tell Ghanaians that he was "quoted out of context", whatever that is.

Compare the Constitution to the Airplane you are flying in, over the Pacific Ocean. If there are any "minor" faults here and there, no responsible, and sensible Pilot will neglect good advice, and fly that plane, even if 'Nyansafuo' like you want to go and do their business in China or whatever.
The announcement will be: "THE PLANE IS FAULTY"

If the Constitution gives a Civil Servant the mandate to be above the Constitution, then there is something wrong.
Betty Mould used her constitutional right to ignore the directives from President Mills when she caused the payment of that money to Woyome.
Somebody used their Constitutional right to pump money into Asongtaba's private NKONFEM project under the national SADA Scheme, making it impossible to demand accountability for the lost money. Have you seen a hen, or an Akonfem flying before? But you are very at ease to call others 'NKWASEAFUO', whilst believing, and supporting the claim that the Nkonfem have flown away to Burkina Faso.

We hope for you, that you never get any Human intelligence like those 'Nkwaseafuo', for you to one day cry for having been deceived

Are you happy now?

Just want to remind you that it was this same "useless" constitution (just like the voter's register) that NPP used to govern Ghana for 8 years. During those years, you and Jawula never deemed the constitution as useless.

Clapping mischieve and corruptions out of mere partisanship.Chiefs play partisans because of NDC leaving them out of development which incites troubles and violentes in their communities.The Constituition is old and ridiculous. Active politics means, chiefs can't involve in any party's activities. They can't stand for any political office of any political party.

There are some village chiefs should leave the seats with immediate affect.
The chief of a town in Upper West Region about 12 miles from the regional capital call Takpo has such a chief. He is Alexander Na with the chief title as Widdana 2nd. This man has no sense of directions. He is clueless.This is the reason why people including myself want this chief to step down.
This man created so many land disputes and divisions between sections of the village. These sections were very good friends and bury each others dead. This long time cultural and traditional practices no longer prevail on the count of his vaulting ambitions and open shenanigans.
Takpo SHS was started as a community school. The middle school gave room for their occupancy since. Housing the students posted a formidable force.
The Tendaabas of Takpo(Kungbenyir) gave sixty acreage of land for the school to be constructed. Alexander Na Takpo chief was present and participated in the demarcation process with immense solidity. There was a moment of austerity from him. His opposing argument is that the names of the donors of the land should not appear on the document because to his knowledge Kungbenyir are not the Tendaabas of Takpo.
President Mahama initiative for 200 SHS is ready for the school to be built but no land. Now he is running around in the village like a chicken with the head cut off looking for the land. Everywhere he went he had been told the land belongs to Kugbenyir.
I do support Lepowura for his observations. JJ made a terrible mistake by decreeing all chiefs in the country should be educated. Most educated chiefs in the north don't have any clue on the traditional values. They have no respect for the people they govern only with intimidation proximity.
Takpo Na has a character problem. This man can't even get along with a student body less than hundred at the SHS. He was the English teacher and the students revolted with death treats against him. I went to his house as a board member and told him what the students are planning to do.
The NGO started a widowers project purposefully to empower their economic base. Takpo Na and his wife hijacked the program. He was the general manager and the wife the secretary and non of them is a widow. The bulls for plowing shifted to goats and chickens. After some years the goats and chickens disappeared. The goats ran into Ivory Coast and the chickens flew to Burkina Bay.
Electricity services got to the village and only his house and few others have lights. The rest of the village is in total darkness.
Why shouldn't such a man resign or dissipated from the seat with subtle distinction. Judges might be facing prison terms how much less a village chief.

Has the Lepowura ever filed a complaint with ant agency against any of the chiefs who he knows to have flaunted the Constitution? Lepowura is not only intellegigent but also a man of good character. However, Lepowura could help the situation if he formally notifies the House of Chiefs regarding the errant conduct of some of its members.
