It's a shame that people don't understand the good work the current moderator is doing, trying to restore the reputation of PCG and also educate the PCG members to return to their mother church so that when they go back home, they will be recognized and accepted as PCG members. Rev. Martey's message is simple, let all of us come together as one body under the leadership of PCG, and they said no, meanwhile they are holding PCG members hostage, deceiving and misleading them, all because of money the pastors get from PCUSA. Rev. Manso should shut up with his disgrace and shame.God raised him to a higher level and now he brought himself down. No respect wheresoever. There's more to the story. Shame on him! !!!!!

Resigning means that anytime the decision of a general concensus fails to suit you,then one must look fo the door. This is not befitting for a man of Rev Manso's caliber. Am an officer of the church of Pentecost and whenever a white paper comes out everybody must obey and comply others we will not have a governing body. I believe he has made decisions for others to obey before and this is a test of his personal humility as well - this is what we call "being obedient unto death" even death on the cross. God bless you Rev Manso. Obviously the branch in the USA contracts the scriptures hence why Ghana is against you staying here..period.

Could the Presby Church explain why ex Moderators are sent to occupy positions overseas at the expense of practicing priests both at home and overseas? Rev Prempeh is another example of retired Moderators who wouldn't let go.

God is blessing the Church spiritually and physically through the churches in North America. Dirty African politics and evil selfishness is engulfing the leadership of PCG and they're doing all they could to bring division and hatred among the worshippers in this part of the globe. In the Holy Word Of God "THE HOLY BIBLE " , I have not heard, read or seen where demons fight each other or undermine each other. Why is it possible for Christian to always work against each other. Rev. E. Martey is on serious and dangerous mission in trying to bring down the good work that the is doing here in North America. Homosexsuality in sin against Almighty God as it is well known in the holy bible, the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church, USA, which Rev. Frempong Manso has been helping, teaching God's word and winning souls for Christ do not endorse nor practice Homosexsuality. Most of you people don't understand the politics involved in this issue so I will advice that you take time to investigate and understand before condemning the former moderator. It's really not about Gay or Non gays. Rev. Frimpong Manso and Prof. Martey had their qualms a while ago before this issue of gays started. Prof Martey had no reason to refuse or deny Rev. Frimpong the opportunity to travel to New York to pastor a church after his moderatorship at the time but now Martey's clandestine operation to expand the Presbyterian church of Ghana in the USA and thus is using the issue of gay to confuse people to make it seem like that is really the reason for recalling Rev Frimpong back home.
For those of you who don't know, Let me educate you a bit. In the United States we have different Presbyterian bodies ( about five or so) unlike Ghana where we only have the Presbyterian church of Ghana (One body that oversees all Presbyterian churches in Ghana) Now! Rev. Frimpong Manso is pastoring at one of the Presbyterian churches under a presbytery called Reformed Presbyterian Church of USA. Presbyterian Church of USA is another presbytery in the USA and they are the ones that have recently changed their constitution to allow gays pastors to preach the word. And even that, the constitution explicitly says that it's only at the discretion of the church. So as you guys can imagine, all Presbyterian churches of Ghanaian origin and for that matter, African origin have made it clear to the authorities that under no circumstances will they allow gays to preach in our pulpits (it's as simple as that) the white folks can allow the gays in their pulpits but we the immigrant churches frown on that practice because not does our culture frown on it, but our Bible and Christian principles frown on it. So for Prof. Martey to use this gay issue as the bases for recalling Rev. Frimpong is nothing but just a way for him to flex his muscles at the former moderator and I don't think it's fair.

If PCUSA practices gay and the Obama Administration endorses gay then why will Prof Martey allow his son to school in the USA?. Prof Martey you a hypocrit and there is no difference between you and the Pharisees. Only God knows what Prof Martey agenda is. Please allow me to say that Dr Frimpong-Manso does not worship in gay church and neither has he blessed any gay marriage. He is a Ghanaian born and one of the God fearing individual. Remember that when Daniel was asked to worship the golden statue, he refused. But he did not ran away, he was working in the kings house with some of the people who bowed down to the statue. Daniel did not go anywhere, he only stood his grounds and did what God wanted him to do. Former Moderator is supposed to be living in Ghana to help mentor young pastors and to win souls for Christ. There are a bunch of pastors who were sponsored and brought here by PCG to further their education, after their course they decided not to go back thus resigning from PCG and affiliated themselves with PCUSA. These are the pastors who started the whole mess, they made members of the PCG who have traveled to north America believed both churches are the same, so most of their members are from PCG. Rev. Martey is the one who's setting the situation straight to make sure PCG members who have been deceived return to their mother church. Rev. Manson was posted to Australia, he left saying there's no money and he paved his way down to America through Rev. Amoa-Kumah. What's going on now is not about homosexuality, it's all about money which is the root of all evil. I really appreciate and applaud Rev. Martey for his selfless effort to restore the reputation of PCG. I'm a Presbyterian and have lived in America for over 25 years, I know every detail of information about what's going on. Rev. Martey is doing the right thing, Rev. Manson is a selfish money conscious person just like the other pastors, Ofosu Donkor, Nkansah etc.

REv. STEPHEN ALANDO, Northern Region Chairman of PCG, was recalled to Ghana by the late RIGHT REVEREND ANTHONY BEEKO, MODERATOR OF PCG. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE. More importantly, according to my information, the wife of Rev. Alando has had stroke and was languishing in Hospital in Toronto.

We're Presbyterians, not homosexuals, decent, educated professionals who support the economy of Ghana, and even the Presbyterian University College established by the PCG. The problem is Rev. Martey is failing our church. His comments are hypocritical. Rev. Martey has not even found it reasonable enough to visit the man he posted to the Emmanuel Presbyterian Reformed Church (EPRC). Yet, Rev. Martey goes about saying all sorts of things. It's not just the Presbyterian Church of United States of America (PCUSA) that has accepted gay/lesbian community into their fold, the USA, as a country has made it a federal law that the homosexuals must be accepted. Right now, the Ghana Presbyterian Church (PCG) set up in New York cannot refuse to bless a gay marriage, otherwise, they risk losing Title 503, which ensures that the Church operates as nonprofit and tax-free. Also, not being a sovereign church, the US Department of Homeland Security can close the PCG if it refuses to bless gay marriage. Why is Rev. Martey not closing the PCG in New York and other places across the country? Who are his friends in New York? Who is Rev. Achampong, Dr. Ofori and a couple others who broke away with Rev. Frimpong-Manso because they want to work as pastors for the EPRC that Rev. Frimpong-Manso is currently serving? We'll detail the tru picture to the Ghanaian public and certainly the truth shall emerge soon. Thank you

The law does not force every ordained Paster to bless any or all marriages.

Dollar has power and can influence people to take certain decisions. Papa Yaw Frimpong's decision has nothing to do with money. It's primarily due to a feud between the two moderators. You depended on the advice of fickle minded Pastors parrading in the streets of USA to resign.

The Right Reverend Professor Martey is principled and does not brook over nonsense. But he is compassionate as JESUS had compassion over PEOPLE.

The Rt. Rev. Prof. Martey, before the end of his tenure of office, will never re-call any Pastor in Diaspora to Ghana for him (Martey) to replace him (the Pastor).

The Rt. Rev. Prof. Martey is not cheap and mean to come so low for a Pastoral assignment. Instead he will prefer to teach at our university.

The highest honour every Pastor aspires to achieve is the MODERATOR OF THE PCG.

It is therefore shameful and disgracefui to travel outside Ghana as a former Moderator to live in a basement which may be heavily infested with rats, mice or roaches.

Prof Martey you a hypocrit and there is no difference between you and the Pharisees. Only God knows what Prof Martey agenda is. Please allow me to say that Dr Frimpong-Manso does not worship in gay church and neither has he blessed any gay marriage. He is a Ghanaian born and one of the God fearing individual. Remember that when Daniel was asked to worship the golden statue, he refused. But he did not ran away, he was working in the kings house with some of the people who bowed down to the statue. Daniel did not go anywhere, he only stood his grounds and did what God wanted him to do. Dr Frimpong-Manso, don't go anywhere, just continue to stand with Jesus and remember there are countless men and women of God praying for you. Let Martey do what he has purposed in his heart to do. It is the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) that sent you to the USA to work with the Presbyterian Church (USA)in New York. Now, if the PCG has realised that the Presbyterian Church (USA)is engaged in the teachings of Christianity, (which you profess to be holding and winning more souls for Christ) but goes contrary to Divine law, and for that matter, has asked you to return to Ghana, you should have honourably done so!
