In all other countries around the world, rivers, lakes, canals and all other bodies are a blessing. London's Thames River, Canal cruise and waterfront attractions like the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen, Navy Pier and Riverwalk in Chicago, the constitution Garden Pond in Washington DC. And check out New York Harbor when landing at JFK, New York. In all cases, there are beautiful housing projects along these rivers and lakes. In Ghana, Our water bodies, lakes and beaches have become a curse. The residents near our beaches, from Elubo through Cape Coast, Accra to Aflao and Lome, would not build toilets because they the sea will wash their shit away. Lagoons are treated as rubbish dump. An now, we have to take a pittance from a foreign country to build a defense wall and lay armored rocks primarily, to keep our people as far away from the water as possible. Are we animals?

Dude take it easy.I can understand your frustration but clam down,you're living in London as I suppose do you wake up in the morning to hear any of their ministers on radio insulting any British tribes no they talk about issues affecting their nation and how their political party is going to fix it.our own is rather the opposite blame games is the norm.since we continues to cherish our so called colonial masters and remain in their jok education without looking else where to add to what's we already have then we doom.Ghana and Nigeria have the most big educational degrees yet upon all this degrees our nations are the most dirty.even where you're in London take a look at the environments and see where the Africans,Asians,south Americans live then compare them to the Britains.
