In 2007 when 17 people were vying to replace Kufuor, Kufuor warned the party to critically evaluate the aspirants and ensure they selected the right person. That in particular, the party should not choose any person who is a source of tension and confusion and always causing conflict, and that the person should be a unifier and one who would keep the party together. Kufuor stressed further that the party must ensure they got one whom they could present to Ghanaians who would be acceptable.

Can you guess who he was indirectly referring to? To me there is no doubly he had only one person in mind: Nana Addo.

The party ignored Kufuor's advice and now the party is in disarray. A Vice-Chairman calling a NEC meeting when the Chairman is body and soul physically present in Accra?

The NPP Constitution and its basic rules and regulations were in place and binding on all its members before some were elected to executive positions. Therefore, being an elected executive member doesn't mean that you can't be disciplined according to the party's basic laws.

For example, the president of Ghana is subject to the basic laws of Ghana, and if he flouted them, he could be impeached and removed from office even though he was elected by some Ghanaians.

Mr. Afoko was said to have been invited many times to defend exonerate himself from the serious allegations leveled against him. But he failed to do so clinging on technicalities that did not help his course or that of the party, resulting in the party's disciplinary rules being applied against him. This is a real Democracy and the rule of law that exists in the party, and shows that nobody is above the law in the NPP party.

the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us . Long live the Republic of Akan

Afoko, stop this useless legal battle. If you were to have principles, you would have since stepped aside when your blood brother got involved in the murder of the UE NPP Regional Chairman. If you really have nothing to hide by stubbornly wanting to maintain the Chairmanship, I feel the best thing to do is to comply to the decision of the NEC,stay aside until after the elections, and if indeed you have no hidden agenda against the party, you would certainly be vindicated and come back for your position. It is only then that you will win back your credibility and the trust of the rank and file of the party. As matters stand now, even if you win the appeal, you will continue to be an ostracized leader. From the majority of the grassroots to the top hierarchy of the party, you lack credibility for now.

Before the 2012 SC petition, dr bawumia, jake and nana addo told npp synpathizers that ndc rigged the election. but during the cross- examination of dr bawumia by tsatsu, he(bawumia) vehemently denied ever saying the election was rigged by ndc. he, however, asserted that they were in court because of irregularities observed in some ndc strong holds. but is npp saying that those irregularities occured only in those polling stations they selected. does it mean that elections in ashanti and eastern regions were perfect? mind u the ec had nullfied the votes in the selected polling stations, ndc would have also brought polling stations in npp strongholds where similar irregularities occured. in fact, 2012 election was the most free, fair, transparent and peaceful election has ever had. no voter could use someone's id to vote because of verification device. no voter could vote more than once because in the second attempt, the VD would indicate loudly, "Had already voted." so why are people still deceiving themselves? even when u look at the election of the mps, it was obviously clear that ndc won the election. npp lost some their seats to ndc. or was that one also rigged?

Kuffour and his team won by running an inclusive campaign. They did not sideline anybody including Nana Addo himself. Kuffour showed leadership by bringing people together, something Nana hasn't been able to do. Kuffour's team did not see those who contested him bitterly as his enemies. In as much Nana wanted Kuffour to lose, he welcomed him whole heartedly into his campaign. Stop blaming people for Nana's failure and incompetency for his enemies are people like you who keep putting up nonsense to piss sensible minds off. In as much as I want to see the back side of NDC, there is no way I will advice any of my family to vote for Nana because of characters like you. Leave Kuffour alone, you guys keep tongue lashing him and expect him to do what for Nana?. If you're a chairman you should not behave like a tiger in your house and a chicken when outside. Afoko task was to mobilise the elephant fratenity to rally behind Nana Addo... Unfortunately his leadership has brought more chaos than peace including his brother alleged killing of Mr Adams. We tired of him... If is position he wants, then he should take it to his house....Those who are ready to perform the rrsponsibility ll do it period.

If he goes to court they will place an injunction on him pending the determination of the case to silence him.
