Most of these double voters across the border have the right and choice to opt to be in Ghana or Togo. They will just opt Ghana for life.

The biggest loser will be NPP because once again, under Nana Addo, the party has shot itself in the leg by expressing ethnocentrism under the pretense of clean register.

We all know that not only do we have double registration in the Volta corridors but along the Brong Ahafo, Western borders with Ivory Coast and three north most regions, but due to hatred of the Voltarians, Bawumia and his Nana gangsters decided to highlight that of the Volta.

Again, it is very ironical that NPP will seek help or the pressure of the very colonial masters who created this crisis in the first place.

For economic, divisive reasons, there's a trend which a certain colonial master left almost all the colonies she administered.

There was no consideration to bring people of different tribes together but keep them divided for her benefit. Hence, many borders were drew because people of the same culture(cutting them into two.

Examples, like Kashmir between India and Pakistan, Ghana and Togo, Ghana and Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda are but a few for those who have eyes to see.

This was no accident and the solutions lies in a well thought out plans than just mere political ignorance and selfishness.

I for one, have always suggested three options,

1. Ensure that all birth and death records are brought to standards.

2. Encourage inter-marriages among tribes which enriches the gene pool and also greatly end this tribal divisions.

3. The African union taking the initiative to try and redraw the borders for Africa to resolve the tribal- border crisis left by the colonialists.

This is not going to help the NPP in 2016 because the same people will vote but what might affect the party is the NDC also insisting on the removal of ghost and underage voters especially in Ashanti region which is the strong hold of NPP.

I feel sad and sorry I might not be able to defend the party again because as an Ashanti, I can not be part of a party that encourages its supporters to be ethnocentric and divisive in this 21st century when national development is the prime across the world.

May we find proper solutions to our problems and not jumpy emotional thoughtless suggestions.

Afoko should be lucky that he has merely been suspended for all the own goals he has been deliberately scoring against the NPP just for his 'brother'Northner to continue to misrule Ghana. He Afoko himself, when his fellow Northner disagreed with him what happened? His brother Gregory poured acid on him and killed him. Paul Afoko cannot say he knows nothing about this. In the NDC in 1996, when Veep Arkaah disagreed with them, Rawlings physically beat him at a Cabinet Meeting. Nobody in Ghana said that was anti Akan. PV Obeng used all his life ignorantly supporting the Ewe Anti Akan cause. When the NDC lost power in 2000, he was abandoned. He had to seek refuge in Asante Kotoko board membership under Hebert Mensah.Yes, home sweet home. Remember that Rawlings and E.T. Mensah did all they could to sink Kotoko and raise Hearts, something still going on. Good decision by the NPP to suspend Afoko.

Afoko was actually reported to the 'NDC BNI' by some faceless people in NPP before he could even stand for the chairmanship race. He was actually investigated by Interpol which is fair but suspicious.
So stop saying all of NPP elected him.

Again, Jack and Sir. John actually appointed people to positions just with the intent to cover up their crimes and to frustrate the coming executives just before they left office. Stop being naive or propagandist.

If there are under age and ghost names anywhere, isn't it prudent to clean the register? Why did NDC wait till NPP raise this issue before they came to this common sense? Whoever wins on a clean register matters less to Ghana, than to go to polls with wrong register which will can create chaos. After all, what do the ordinary Ghanaian stand to gain on whoever wins? Once a large number of Ghanaians were calling for a new voters register there was no need for the EC who is known to be NDC appointee to set up anything. The EC boss is clearly confused, she can't make any decision on his own. Also the other panelists are not Christ-like as you are and certainly people are afraid they will not make a fair judgement. We have seen this in the SC's bogus verdict in the 2012 election petition case. Reverend Asante, can you convince you colleagues to be honest when you vote to decide on the voters register? Three out of five registered political parties agree on a new register; the NDC is fighting against it. Does it ring a bell in your ears? Considering the fact majority of the panel selected are inclined to NDC's dubious cause? What is your opinion here? A bloated register cannot guarantee any genuine election, that's why Ghanaians are asking for a new register. I sincerely believe you agree with me.

We can no more hold our heads high when it comes to affairs of our beloved Ghana, because you have been a bias representative of the church, forgetting that some of the people you represented were affiliated to the NPP , while others were NDC hard liners.
