An updated one would delete names of people who are no longer eligible to be on it by death mostly and probably minors identified and also other anomalies. It involes adding new voters who have just come of age and new "Ghanaian" citizens.

I listened to this Asiedu Nketia when he was making the NDC presentation. And he said something about the registration of minors and consequently on the register, and the fact that, by 2016, they would have "come of age", ie they would all be 18years of age, and of sound mind, resident in Ghana and Ghanaians, so compiling a new voters register, will not address this category of irregularities which makes the current voters register bloated and absolutely compromised.
First let us state this statement by Asiedu Nketia is a conclusive admission of the fact that, the current voters register as Ghana and the whole world knows, is bloated and compromised.
The second issue I have with this category of irregularity that actually conclusively points to the bloated register is, Asiedu Nketia goes further to say, by 2016, all those minors would have "come of age", which to my understanding, means, they would have reached the age of 18 years as required by the Constitution and the law, to be eligible to register to vote in Ghana.
That is very, very curious in that, this would be predicated on the assumption based on Asiedu Nketia's statement, that at the time of those minors registering in 2011 or 2012 whichever one it is, those minors captured in the current voters register all across the country would be of the exact same age, for them to have come of age at the same time, to be eligible to vote in 2016, if the current bloated register is kept intact as suggested by Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the John Mahama NDC party which is in gov't.
How is Asiedu Nketia able to come to this conclusion, that all those minors would have come of age by 2016, and what data does Asiedu Nketia of the NDC party have together with the Charlotte Osei-led Electoral Commission of Ghana, to be able to make such a categorical and conclusively definitive statement?
It is very, very interesting because unless there was a systematic and conscientious effort on the part of the NDC party and the EC, to deliberately register minors all across the country with the exact same age, for them to "come of age" according to Asiedu Nketia by 2016, concurrently, then how is Asiedu Nketia the Gen. Sec of the NDC party which is in gov't, able to make that definitive statement, as to why, on this category of minors which bloats the register, there is no need for a new voters register?
This is aside of whether these minors as captured on the register are also Ghanaians in the first place to be even eligible to be registered to vote.
So clearly, unless Asiedu Nketia working in concert with the EC bloated the current register with minors of the same age and he has the data to prove, that by 2016, all those minors would have come of age and thus, eligible to vote, then the current register as presently compiled is such a very flawed, compromised and totally rotten document, that the EC would have to change it immediately, by initiating the process of compiling a new register latest by the middle of November 2016. Because there is no way it can be possible all the minors so captured on the voters register all across the country will all "come of age" according to Johnson Asiedu Nketia of the NDC party, unless he is privy to such data, and there was a deliberate action on the part of his NDC party and the EC, to bloat the current voters register with minors whose nationality is even not known, to be able to conclusively make that statement.
It is very, very interesting and shows clearly, the current register is totally rotten and needs to be thrown out immediately.

It started with demands for a biometric register,when they were defeated they run to de supreme court for millions of votes to be cancelled in order for their candidate be declared prez. When that failed they quickly look for another thing to occupy Ghanaians with.
If u could identify de problems as they claimed to have done, then what prevent de EC from taking those names out after concrete evidence has been provided. I think de NPP is just looking for an opportunity to further bloat de register in their already bloated strongholds.
