Why do we produce engineers and other science professionals, and yet turn to foreigners for all major infrastructural development projects and exploitation of our abundant mineral wealth?

We must rethink our education in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and ICT and produce highly-skilled manpower for industry to undertake infrastructural development and exploit our natural resourcs.

Our universities and polytechnics should deliver practical courses aimed at problem-solving and logical thinking.
