  Government should revamp all the railways corridors. From Takoradi-Kumasi, Takoradi-Accra, Accra-Kumasi, Achiasi-Kade, Tarkwa-Prestea,Dunkwa-Awaso. Both NPP and NDC have collapsed railways totally. A nation without railways?

  Railways in Ghana are neglected, old, outmoded, dangerous and unreliable. The economy cannot support its redevelopment. So, why will Parliament waste time discussing a project that will end up in the drawer.

  What a shame,a developing country with such wonderful natural resouces does`nt see the need to maintain and even extend her railway network which the colonial government deemed necessary for economic development.Do the leaders of Ghana think the British government was a fool to construct railway network to carry the bulk of the natural resources bound for export to the sea port? Do the leaders of Ghana also forget about how easier and cheaper it was to board a train? Why cann`t the government lear from a fellow African country Ethiopia having the least natural resources on the continent have such superb modern railway system? Look at their Air Lines. Mahama,wake up and think twice.
